The guy couldn't make a near post save if his life depended on it, don't know hes going to get the ball or defenders head anytime he comes for a cross, and his positioning is just terrible, how many keepers have you seen drop to the ground on their arse before the strikers even took a shot, single handedly got us knocked out the champions league, finished the season with minus goal difference, and you think he's a good keeper, utter madness and the fact fans like you accept this mediocrity is part of the problem, we will never progress with him in goal
I’m really warming to Andre. Yes a shaky start but he’s starting show why we bought him. I hope he succeeds and proves all the doubters wrong.
When Andre is in form he's world class. And from what I've seen he's definitely getting rid of the silly mistakes he's prone to making. Could be a huge asset for the years to come.

I have garnered alot of respect for Onana, he had a questionable start to the season, a few fumbles conceding some easy goals, but now at the end of the season from what I've seen of him, he's made some really decent saves between the sticks and put in some great performances.

Onana really proved the media and haters wrong. He brushed off his early bad performances and ended the second half of the season incredibly well.

It’s exactly like a defender being one of the best in europe and in history, and is extremely clean and only does good tackles, when the SA guys can full on grab, push, tackle, and do much more and it will work far better as not only are you able to play physical, you even have a chance of injuring the guy and of course at most get a yellow… that’s why i say that the best defence is simply in SA, they can play actual football, not soft european version (it’s exactly like nba players who played in the euro league saying that the euro league is far harder to score in, yet the nba is by far not even remotely close the best basketball league itw, it’s simply because europe allows physicality)

As a Chelsea fan I was gutted when man united signed Onana. We needed a keeper back then. It didn’t seem like Magnain wanted to leave AC milan so I was calling for Onana. He’s had a bad start but I have to respect his attitude and character.

Half the teams in Germany, France, Italy and Spain would struggle in the English championship let alone the premier league which means those nations big clubs like Barcelona, Madrid, Bayern, psg etc don't have to try as hard for half the season, there is very little rest in the premier league. It's also why English clubs struggle in Europe.

Love Dea Gea but fully understand why Onana was purchased. To play total football you need to be able to control the game anywhere on the pitch Onana can fit into that system. Liverpool and City have this. When the team is more complete everywhere on the pitch Onana will be much more appreciated.

He really snaked us at ajax. Got suspendend because of a drugstest which was his own fault. Ajax continues to pay him and train him even though he couldnt play for a year plus.

I like him but he’s a terrible goalkeeper and the comments are coping. The amount of goals that are conceded because he makes a mistake or his hands aren’t strong enough to stop a shot or he leaves an entire side of the goal wide open because he’s out of position is unreal.
His sweeping has been pretty much non existent too which is supposedly why we bought him. He’s not good enough and his signing was a big mistake. Should’ve kept de Gea or gone for someone like Diogo Costa instead.
Any keeper would struggle in front of this defense just like De Gea did many times.
If United is supposed to follow the visions they say they have, they need keeper like Onana. Problem is he also has to cover for centreback, left back and dm's who are all very bad defensively.
He has one of the best save ratings over the season, he just faces so many shots.
