The stop at Puka was very cool!

The stop is where most trains pass on this section on the route.

The difference in the quality of the infrastructure and rolling stock between Estonia and Latvia is staggering...
It's also sad that the rail connections between Baltic capitals are so bad, hopefully things will improve once Rail Baltica is finished in the future

I would Not say , trains yes totally different , but buildings in Estonia Are in way worse condition , Latvian railway stadions are more modernized even within same old building..

tallin train station is way smaller than in riga and doesn't even sell tickets, so i'd say part of the infrastructure is better in Latvia:D

@@Sofi00 that is incorrect. The Tallinn train station does sell tickets at Tallinn, however I bought mine from online. The Tallinn train station (In terms of tracks) I believe is larger than the Riga station. The Tallinn train station also has nicer platforms than the Riga station.

@@timectrl okay maybe it changed but when i was there in the summer, there was no place to buy tickets and half of station was closed, the other half was a grocery store. Riga train station is huge, taking into consideration it’s connected with a big mall and in my opinion it has more tracks. Of course Estonian trains are way newer but Latvia has bought new trains already too.
