Personally, I feel like events like this are not as common. As in having such a structured narrative and with so many things happening at once. Currently, events are a bit more straightforward in their plots, while is not bad, I wouldn't mind a heavy event like Wolumont once more.
Since Folinic is a doctor, after Mudrock was revealed to be female, I couldn't help myself thinking that Folinic was the doctor who did a medical test for Mudrock and was like, "Wait, he's a girl?"
i love this one more than i think i would honestly and that's after reading mudrock op record. the fckd up stuff is not how Atro died or no. of casualties but at how it's almost a lost-lost situation for everyone here and how biederman and thorwald played every cast here, pro gamer move 1. Severin lost his son 4. the town lost many folks for basically nothing 5. the infected fought for nothing (again) 6. mudrock squad lost so many men escaping Leithanien caster later 7. the town pretty much lost all of it's authority and mergerd with other city (meaning law they may don't like) biederman and thorwald didn't really win anything either, the only one that truly benefits from this is the Contingency Contract. gotta love story like this which reminds us how far can a situation get fckd up in rl where the salvation is more or less irrelevant
@@gigaslave well if that's considered a "won" in this list I've would say biederman and thorwald got the W too. but that's not what im talking about, RI always fought for their ideals but not only that (they would go broke and die in a ditch somewhere if that's the case) , in this one tho they really didn't get anything other than that. mudrock herself wouldn't join if it weren't for logos even if she admired RI already post the event
Reminds me of New Vegas, the one I could think of was 'return to sender', no one wins in that situation, the elites don't listen and don't care and are too busy sucking the army dry of manpower and resources while the worse of the worse out there are eating innocents alive, the ones that led them to power and prominence. While the details don't match, the endings do, even tho everyone played their cards right and tried their best, everyone still lost. "Sometimes you can make no mistakes and still lose. This is actually what happens in real war. Both sides actually lose something, and only very few people benefit from it. Most cases are involving egotistical reason.
@@hermanwillem7057 Arguably Thorwald did win. The main reason he did this was so that the rest of Lethania and the world sends aid to Wolumounde and after killing Atro and the blame being put on Mudrock squad, RI the rest of Lethania noticed and did aid Wolumonde otherwise more people would have died from famine and infighting anyways in the same way as Children of Ursus
ToW is my favorite event so far. The story is dark and cruel and sad, and seeing Folinic deal with her grief while also trying to prevent a whole city to get wrecked was super interesting but also captivating to me. I guess I could say she was really human, trying to maintain control of her rage but failing, having to be calmed down by her comrades more than once and dealing with so much death and chaos and madness and making mistakes along the way was what got me. Folinic is an honest, hardworking girl unable to suppress her pain and grief in the face of war but still managed to prevent the worst and help people. That's why I like her so much and this event really showed the horrible face of Leithania and a lot of interesting lore. Even if Folinic is not a very good operator I like her a lot and I don't regret building her nor buying her skin
My takeaway: ~ _Folinic needs a hug._ ~ _Suzu needs a headpat._ ~ _Wolumonde needs new leadership._ ~ _Mudrock Squad needs a home. (They found one later, thanks Logos.)_ Hope everyone is enjoying the event. As always: Cheers everyone! ^_^ Edit: Condensed words and such.
Correction on the end: Biederman refused to kill Altro instead deciding to help her with her work, so Thornwald took matters in his own hands and told Biederman to lead the uprising post accident, cuz if they don't do that, then the town will starve. And if people will die anyway, either from starvation or fighting for scraps, then it's better to draw A LOT of attention from outside world so that the nobles couldn't ignore their situation anymore. That's why Thornwald jihaded the clinic, the story cearly says that Biederman couldn't use the gramaphone and only the native could. This is basically choosing the lesser evil, both of them were ready to pay for this with their lives, Thornwald to save his ppl and Biederman to clear away the mess he caused cuz it really hit him deep. So Thor "pulled the gun", and Bieder made sure that Altos death meant something.
