    Hi
your clip is very useful for me, but i want to know how to calculate speed of interface between my veeam BR11 server and external storages to buy sufficient card. Some people recommend me to buy 16Gb SPF but i think my current system doesnt need a too high speed like that.

Thanks for the video. Is there any way to create snapshots in veeam? Because if i have to restore one incremental backup from e.g. yesterday, then veeam delets the vm disk on ESXI and uploads the complete thing. Thats to much impact for the drive if only a few changes have happen.

I would like to backup my VMware into USB, is that possible using Veeam? and what domain should I put on the DNS name when I am adding the VMSphere on my laptop?

So you are backing up vms from esxi host ( vms might be on same physical host or NAS) to backup veeam server over the LAN. If one vm amounts 50 GB, it will take much time to backup..
Please give us scenario such as if we have hp dl380 server
We install esxi on local sd card or on local disk volume consisting of large Raid volume.
Cant we connect external usb drive directly esxi host and backup vms. Whulich should be faster.

How can you do instant recovery on the backup server itself rather than on the vCenter?

You should not leave everything as the default in guest proccessing, do add an account.
unless you don't mind restoring screwed up SQL DBs/other DBs

Acronis cyber protect is from my experience much more reliable and also much faster than veeam. Not to speak about the complicated process to renew you veeam licenses. Acronis also needs no underlying windows installation. It just runs as a appliance in your vshpere infrastructure. Acronis also has no problems at all when there are snapshots on the machines.
