OMG, this reaction was everything! Thank you so much for checking the song out. No ghostwriter, no AI. We write all of our music ourselves. We write everything collaboratively so it brings three perspectives to every song that we write. We will have more shows coming up further from home in 2025 just nothing in stone yet! And damn, we would love to tour with you! We should chat horror movie sometime! And hey, Cold Front, thank you so much for requesting us! We see you!

P.S.. you are not wrong, this was incredibly fun to film. It was a huge dream of ours to make a horror inspired video. The entire video was produced with local talent from our hometown!
P.S.S.. serial killer that collects bands…yesssss!

Freeze The Fall has been together for a bit over two years. They first met in the summer of 22, and began jamming in Jonah's basement. They wrote their first song together, Insomnia, in the fall of 22. They first appeared onstage as a band in January of 23. They posted their first videos to RUclips in late May of 23. These were a lyric video for their song Thrones, and seven live performance videos from a show at Crown and Thieves. Two of the live videos were covers, Evolve, by The Warning, and The Pretender by Foo Fighters. The other five songs were all originals, Masquerade, Daughters of Witches, One Left Standing, Insomnia, and 46. Like quite a few people, Evolve was what got my attention, but the originals got me to subscribe.
Several months later Jessie, from BEL Development, a Canadian reactor, did a reaction to two of their songs, and gave them an open invite to join him on a podcast. This led to them joining him for the legendary, four hour, The Warning Teatro Metroplitan concert, viewing party livestream. He started it off with a short interview with Quinn and Aria, before starting the concert viewing livestream. During the livestream Jessie asked the chat how they felt about the possibility of donating some money to help Freeze The Fall with recording costs. The Chat loved the idea. This lead to Freeze The Fall launching a Kickstarter to raise money for their first EP.
The Kickstarter was a big success, which meant they not only had money for the EP, but also money for promotion, which went to recording music videos. They recorded 5 videos in one day in a freezing cold barn. ... Trust me, the videos are so much better than that sentence would suggest. There were numerous costume changes, and each video has its own visual style. Glitch, the first video has 43,000 views in 10 months, and is the most viewed video on their channel.
Freeze The Fall has obviously been busy since then, with live performances, the video for VHS, and more new music on the way.
Glad you decided to check out Freeze The Fall. Enjoyed your enthusiastic commentary. If you want to check out more there is quite a bit to choose from.
Insomnia was the first song they wrote together. There is a video of them performing it at Crown and Thieves, and to the best of my knowledge that is the only place you can hear that song.
Masquerade is one of my favorites, and you can choose between two different live performances, or the official music video.
Glitch was their debut single, and first official music video. There is also a live performance video of Glitch, but you should watch the music video first so that you have some context. :)
    Welcome to the Cold Front.

Yep, they are the real deal. Glad you enjoyed. There are quite a number of us who think they really have something special going.
Love the name and the logo as well. Planning to head up to BC myself to see them play at some point.

Oh! Yes, they had the VHS series on repeat while they were in the studio recording their first EP, so that is the inspiration for this. The theme of the song is how people in positions of power sometimes use it to control and manipulate others, told through the medium of a slasher horror flick. Jonah is the biggest horror head, and got his bandmates hooked on them.

It's nice to see a bigger channel react to their stuff! I actually reacted to all their current videos myself and they even dropped into my chat as I did it as a live stream! They are awesome! ^^

They are the real deal! I went to high school in the city they recorded this in.
Produced by Jordan Chase and engineered by Colton Douglas in Oodelally Studios.
Fun fact: Kevin Moore of Soft Surrogate, who designed the cover art for Spiritbox's Eternal Blue and Tsunami Sea designed Freeze The Fall's logo, t shirts and ep artwork.
All music is written by Quinn, Aria and Jonah.
Absolutely come up for a show! Kelowna has an international airport.
They've already had fans travel from Tacoma, Colorado and Pennsylvania for shows. I've seen them 6 times this year.

The tapes are apparently tracks from the second ep:
    VHS
    Hypothermia
    Lace
    Rot
    Buried, or Aurora
    Oubliette

Direction and filming done by Evan (the psycho) and Teddy (the nurse) of Two Six Films. They also shot their live videos from Revelry Club (try Masquerade or Bloody Mary), and their five barn videos.

Discovered you with your recent Lincoln Park reactions. Freeze the Fall is great and that was a really fun reaction. I first found them when they covered some songs from The Warning. Since you're always looking to be introduced to new bands - I highly recommend watching The Warning next, definitely viewing a live performance. They're 3 sisters from Mexico (who sing mostly in English) and blend classic rock, hard rock, grunge and pop. They're very dynamic and charismatic on stage. Check out “Evolve” from the 2023 VMAs, “Hell You Call a Dream” from Pepsi Center, or “Automatic Sun” from Pol’and Rocks (played in front of over 100K people at that festival). The first two titles can be found on The Warning’s YT channel.

Should have recommended the "Six Feet Deep" OMV or the entire Queen of the Murder Scene concept album for the horror angle. Thankfully those aren't as bloody as this video, which frankly I can't watch. Their acting sold it too well. But can you imagine what someone could do if they made a short film from QOTMS?

Thank you for reacting to them. They have a distribution deal with 604 records but no actual record contract. Parents are their managers & they write their own songs!! I believe but could be wrong that Aria the bass player is taking vocal lessons which includes harsh vocals. So expect some screaming in the future!!!

They are a great band and a great group of people. Their parents fully support them which is so great to see it is so nice when parents also believe in their kids dreams and pitch in to help them achieve it. This is an impressive song and video, their Debut EP dropped earlier this year and ever song is fire. Can't wait for their new EP, the names of each of the songs on it were written on the other tapes at the end of this video.

The band itself is just over 2 years old. Quinn and Aria used to pass each other at school, and admired each other's Bring Me The Horizon and Children of Bodom shirts. They introduced themselves and started to jam. Soon after Jonah entered the picture, and they started writing originals. They released their first video single on February 1st, which got them contacted 17 days later by a rep from 604 Records, and signed to a promotion and distribution deal. One stipulation was that RUclips reactors absolutely won't be blocked for copyright, and can monetize the reactions. The reactor community is SOOPER important to them.
You might want to check out Katerina Nicole-Catch My Breath.
This is her debut single, out of the same studio that Freeze The Fall works with. Jordan Chase, yo.
