- On 2/11/24, the tour surfers were preparing for the Hurley Pro at Sunset Beach. Sunset wasn't doing it's thing, so Italo Ferreira, Kade Matson, and Jake Marshall among others headed down to Rocky Point to get their reps in and keep fresh for the start of the second stop on the World Tour. Also, a couple legends were out there, namely Shane Beschen and Michael Ho.

@@OffDaLip The surfing of so many teenage boys is far superior to that of even the best female pro surfer. Jackson Dorian, for example, could join the female tour and proceed to win every contest. Wow. Female surfing is truly pitiful. Almost as pitiful as WNBA basketball. In both, what’s routine for men is miraculous for women. Sad. We saw that in the latest Pipe contest. Barrels that men routinely get were treated as miraculous when women got them. And indeed it’s right to treat them as miraculous, since because of the unbelievable inferiority of female surfing, such barrels are so rare.
