Actually, I'm pretty sure that some of the Purge troopers are still clones because when journeying to the underground Zeffo tome you can hear a stormtrooper asking his Purge trooper superior if he would mind asking if he served in the Clone Wars and the Purge trooper said he did mind obviously indicating that he did and that he is in fact a clone.
They are Clones they where the last batch of clones ever created but some though are normal human males but a batch of purge troopers seen in the comics shows that the batch where all clones they can easily be identified by the red tattoo on their faces
This is the point where they're being phased out of the imperial military, In fact in that same Interaction, You can infer that the first guy is an actual human who did not fight in the clone wars.

Derek Eddo you can parry their first strike then parry again straight after blocking the second, it’ll break their stamina allowing you to get a free hit, rinse and repeat
I've only finished my scan of the electrohammer purge trooper right before I went to the Fortress on Nur. The reason being, for my dozens of times back in that platform on Kashyyyk, I always used three force pushes to push that poor guy down the platform, because I mistook him for a electrostaff purge trooper which I've already scanned when I progressed to the platform. I've only realized this when someone else in another video commented:"You can find electrohammer purge trooper in the deserted villiage platform on Kashyyyk". I was like :"Wait a sec"
the electrostaff is developed technology from the magna Gard, there staff also has the capability to fire blasters at the ends of it, and it send 32% more power on to enemies then the magna Gard electrostaff did! just a fun fact, good video!

Fun discovery: higher difficulties increase the number of attacks that are unblockable. Not sure if there's a difference for this in the lower difficulties, but for certain, there are some attacks that are blockable on Jedi Master that can't be blocked on Jedi Grandmaster. Examples include the Scout Trooper Commander's spin attacks (only the third attack is unblockable on JM, but the whole chain is unblockable on JGM) and the Electrobaton Purge Trooper's leaping stab attack. It's a small change that has made my second playthrough even more challenging.
Should be as an inquisitor... Have it be like a detective/investigative game, where you have to react to rumours and odd events you think are possibly force-related and if you over react and tear places apart pockets of rebels pop up and create a shit-storm for the local governor (who reports it) and it eventually comes back to kick you in the arse from an angry Vader...
Fun little fact Clone Purge Troopers were decommissioned due to an event were a Jedi tricked them to turn on their Inquisitor allies via issuing Order 66

That approach was hilarious. Logic watertight. Just use the force, and push them difficult bastards off a cliff. Who knew that is EXACTLY what they meant when they say use the force over and over? They were talking literally, and to just sweep all your problems off the cliff. I mean Anakin did it with the Emperor. That is how Darth Maul died as well. If nothing else, it is gravity. Just make sure they fall some distance at least.
Fun Fact: After my play through there are only 3 Elecrto hammer Purge Troopers. The one on Kashyyyk, which I dont think respawns. The other two are at the Inquisitorious, one in the training room, the other in the cell block. This means that they are the rarest enemy in the game, not counting one time bosses. Edit: Actually it's either this or the thing you see at the beginning of Dathomir.
electro staff troopers are my favorite but the baton ones are the most difficult especially on higher difficulty due to how quick and aggressive they are
I swear if a melee style reïnforcement won't be in battlefront 2 now I don't know it anymore. They have these purge troopers for the empire, magna guards for seperatists, shield troopers for first order, scout troopers with batons for the empire, emperial (red guards) for the empire, snoke's red guards, ewoks (as reïnforcements, I know they re in game), tusken raiders and the list keeps on going!

First time i met the electrohammer purge trooper. I was weirded out by his “sexualization” of the battle.. he kept commanding me to hit him and each time i did he moaned or made an sexual sound.. i just yeeted him off the platform and noped the fuck out of there
This what I like to see in Star Wars it shows that people aren't idiots and create counters to the supposedly invulnerable force users can be taken out by clever thinking and specialist weaponry anyone can take them down.
I've always liked the anti force users tactics in Star Wars and the purge troopers are probably my favorite they're like a elite commando unit. I do feel the electro-hammer was made for the bigger/stronger Jedi that can overpower the other two weapon types and the blaster variant was introduced for more general opponents with the decline in Jedi encounters.
They are the successor of the Death Troopers! Both are deadly and are my favorite besides the covert ops clone troopers & dark troopers (clone, storm & royal guard).

What I meant as the message within what I said is that of both specialized forces with different tasks they remind me of each other with their dark design. Like Clone/Storm Dark Troopers. The Purge troopers are similar to Clone Covert Ops Troopers (these hunted down AWOL Clone troopers or those that betrayed their fellow clones or generals in command. That's the closest you can get to Purge Troopers without comparing the normal clones after Order 66 was given.
Interestingly enough when you get to Grandmaster level, baton troopers are only second most difficult. Purge trooper commanders (ones with the rifle) become suprising pain because blaster damage is set to maximum. Also you cannot turn their attacks against them as easily(for one, since melee isn't a thing that counts out parrying, for second they evade deflect blaster bolts). Oh, and Pull + saber doesn't work: if you do that they interrupt it by charging their rifles and shooting you mid pull. And you cannot block charged shots you set yourself for a freebie. Good thing that game didn't start giving Purge Commander + Two electric baton troopers or literally combined them with other purge troopers, because that kind of combination would've sucked. Really only attack you can turn against them is their shock grenade, which doesn't really damage them but you can throw your saber at them. Force pushing them of the cliff and slow + saber works, but then again that can take everything(except rabid jotaz. Looks like that boss is immune to slow)
That Electrohammer Purge Trooper in the very first footage is the easiest XP farm in the game. Jump up to the platform, Force Pull the Scout Trooper, kill, Force Push the Electrohammer Purge Trooper off the platform, parry the shots from the Stormtrooper Commander, then jump on the slide back down to the Meditate Point. Rinse and Repeat until you've bought every skill point.

I'm running an Edge of the Empire game right now, and I homebrewed some Purge Trooper enemies. My party is way over powered and I'm hoping these guys can at least make an interesting fight.
I would love a Star Wars game, a bit similar to the Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Wildlands\Breakpoint where you may be playing as a Rebel or Imperial trooper and is possible to play with up to 3 friends, and as an rebel you could be able to travel to different planets hijacking imperial vehicles, sabotaging valuable Imperial buildings and etc. As an Imperial trooper you could rise through the ranks to be able to pilot any Imperial walker or whatever you'd like to, and have to travel to different planets to either destroy Rebel hideouts, or to conquer some planets with rare resources needed for the Empire.
Played on master jedi and wreak him to be fair I'm a dark souls vet also beaten sekiro on the hardest setting so I knew the fighting machanics after about 2 mins learn his attack's
Fun fact: if you force push the commander into his shock grenade radius it will shock him (This only happens if you push him if he is already standing in it he won’t be affected)
after I beat the game I permanently made the game Jedi grand master mode and from that viewpoint the purge trooper commando was definitely the hardest. block an attack he blasts you get mele distance he pushes you back and blasts you so tips for him : get like 7 stim cans tank through damage or saber throw
The most challenging one I think is the baton trooper, trying to be cool and go block for block, parry for parry and dodge for dodge and i mean the cool guy dodge with these guys are tough.
I thought perhaps it was a fluke that the first three times I tried for Force pull a PTCommander to me it resulted in them just flying at me with an unblockable attack. I learned eventually. lol They are definitely badass.
They need to make Fallen Order II or a sequel where you play as the Second Sister or another Inquisitor, but hunting a different Jedi, with references and easter eggs from the original game.

The Purge Trooper Commander’s weapon is a DC-15le, you can see one of the attachments on the blaster during cutscenes

The commanders weappn is the specialist's sniper, the DC15x if i remember.
I love these purge troopers. Much better than the Death Troopers! But the Purge Troopers Commander and Electrostaff are my two favorites.

Fun fact: if you force push the commander into his shock grenade radius it will shock him
(This only happens if you push him if he is already standing in it he won’t be affected)

There should be a game where you become a purge trooper and get to chose which class you are then hunt down Jedi
after I beat the game I permanently made the game Jedi grand master mode and from that viewpoint the purge trooper commando was definitely the hardest.

so tips for him :
get like 7 stim cans
tank through damage
or saber throw
The most challenging one I think is the baton trooper, trying to be cool and go block for block, parry for parry and dodge for dodge and i mean the cool guy dodge with these guys are tough.

I thought perhaps it was a fluke that the first three times I tried for Force pull a PTCommander to me it resulted in them just flying at me with an unblockable attack. I learned eventually. lol They are definitely badass.
Is anybody else having a problem where some of the screen is cut off? Like you don’t see everything, but only a small portion.
They need to make Fallen Order II or a sequel where you play as the Second Sister or another Inquisitor, but hunting a different Jedi, with references and easter eggs from the original game.
The purge trooper is not new and infact was introduced in one of the recent Darth Vader comics, featuring "The occupation of Mancala".
Purge troopers should be added to battlefront II. They would be awesome because of their heavy gun and electro staff.
