Yes! I finally found the person who reviews this motorcycle here in the Philippines. Just found out this motorcycle by the review of Motobob just now and then searching for the one who reviews it here in the Philippines. It's really great to know they sent a demo unit here, hoping it will launch here soon because I really like this unit. I'm planning to buy my first big bike and I'm eyeing for CRF300L, the upcoming CF Moto 450MT, Bristol Veloce 500, and then I saw this Fantic Caballero 500 and I'm in love with it. I really like this modern classics designs of motorcycles because my first motorcycle is a cafe racer and I'm planning to get my first big bike to be a modern classic also 😍
I have heard from a few people now the bike should be for sale in the Philippines very soon. I’m also waiting excitedly for the launch. On your list I’m also very interested in the CF Moto 450, can’t wait to try one of those. The Fantic was a very fun ride, I’m sure you’ll be able to test one soon!
Dude, you're living the high life over there in jungle land! Awesome trails and sceneries! But your collegue is very brave to haul the Triumph 1200 through the muddy trails like that. It must weigh a ton!?
I love it out here. Moved here 11 years ago on a 2 year work visa and never left. That 1200 is indeed a bit like pushing a tank around, but he takes it all over the place and is a talented rider
@@enjoy_the_ride thanks for the reply. I'm moving back and wanted another one, and had a Caballero 500, 50th Aniversary w Perelli Scorpions here in Ecuador. It was geared for the hwy and a beast. I couldn't get parts and they treat gringo horrible at the dealer and Fantic wouldn't help so I sold it. The engine is a nice piece of Chinese engineering. Its reliable and fast. Maybe PI will get the 700 with the Yamaha engine.
@@MonsterBuilt I was told they plan to start importing and selling at the end of this year, but dates are never certain. There are lots of good ADV bikes for sale here though, if these are not for sale when you arrive. Most of my friends here ride Tenere 700, KTM 790, Himalayans for ADV bikes. I have a Triumph Tiger Sport 660 I use mostly for roads and light dirt roads. Then dirt bikes for trails

@@enjoy_the_ride Yeah, he must be quite an experienced rider. I would never dare. The Caballero Rally yes, but nothing heavier than that.
At about 1:05 sneaking past that muddy slope, I say, would it be just a smidge more wet he'd be in the drink! 😯
Haha yeah I stood on the right and held the swingarm a bit but told him I can’t guarantee it stays up. Gas it and look forward
@@enjoy_the_ride That's real adventure!
