Correct me if I"m wrong, but this amp is meant for keyboard. Since a guitar has a low output, you're not going to get the full effect of the amp. I'm curious to hear your thoughts on what happened when you connected a microphone to it.
I bought this Alto amp, I like Alto products, but this is not IT!!! This amp has no tone, no volume and the one I bought has no effects. I picked up earlier today at Guitar center and returning tomorrow. I am hopping that a Behringer KDX12 might work better. I want an amp that I can put a keyboard and drum machine into with some tone and volume

the digitech rp1000 has hi z and low z (xlr) outputs.
Thinking of purchasing the kick 12 as only want for karaoke in my house.. kitchen room size 12ft x 26? Would appreciate advice 4 purchasing.
