  • Who Wins The herd, Watch Wild Navajo Stallion Big Daddy and his herd pass through Lefty's territory? I was able to video the fight for dominance. Forgive the camera shake and all the dust, we had high winds blowing me off my feet at times as well as smoke from wildfires all around New Mexico. Thanks for watching, don't forget to like and subscribe.

Thank you for posting this. The horses look in great shape and Lefty got left out this time. Live to fight another day, I guess.

Don't worry Lefty has a herd of 15 he is just a thief and a fighter just look at all the battle scars on his face. The black and white horse and filly use to run with Brave heart lefty kid napped them about this time last year.

Beautiful foal! Beautiful mares! Got some yearlings too. Loved seeing the stallions posing and posturing, saying "look at me!" I just happened upon your site and when I saw this was about local horses just had to watch! 🙂I love horses! 🙂 I used to have 2 horses. I'm a very concerned citizen about our wild mustangs and what the BLM is doing, but that is a different conversation.
Thank you so much for capturing this scuffle. 😎

These horses belong to the Navajo Nation. I live on its borders and help keep an eye on the herds of horses and cows. I have access to animal control, and they respond really fast if a horse or cow is in destress. thanks for watching.

Horses evacuate their bowels instinctively before some action, or in response to that action.

    Which horse is which?
There is a lot of ceremonial pawing, posing and pooping going on.

Why don’t they manage these herds like they do at Chincoteage? Annual roundup. assess health, give shots. Cut out the young stallions and some mares and release the rest of them. Auction off the horses, make some money.
They could be managed and not driven to extinction with the cruel and inhumane decisions being made now. The battle for control is daily and pretty hard on the stallions.

These horses belong to the Navajo, I actually know the owner of some of the horses and cows and have helped round up some before i started my channel. So, my house and land borders state land and Navajo land it is sometimes hard to tell who owns what when you throw in some BLM land, but it is all open range used by numerus ranchers. Also, Blue water state park is partly on Navajo land. I get confused about it all. At least as you can tell the horses all seem to be in good good shape and the animal control here keeps a good check on everyone so I think its saulgoodman.
