Script - 2.8 billion miles from the sun, hidden in the darkness of space, lurks the mysterious Moon, Triton. This strange Natural satellite is the largest of 14 known moons that orbit the mighty blue gas planet, Neptune. But Triton is unlike any other large moon in our solar system, as it orbits its planet in the opposite direction and this means the curious Moon must of been captured from elsewhere in the solar system. It is believed that Triton may of originally existed in the Kuiper belt as a dwarf planet as it shares similar compositions to Pluto, But where this moon actually came from is still a mystery. So if one day in the future we have developed the technology that will allow human beings to travel and land on the this strange moon, what would it be like to stand on Triton. The brave space explorers would experience frigid conditions as Triton is considered the coldest known object in the solar system and has an average surface temperature of minus 235 Celsius (391 degrees Fahrenheit). It has an extremely thin atmosphere that is made up of mainly nitrogen with trace amounts of other gases that are thought to have resulted from the evaporation of ices on its surface. The explorers would require advanced equipment to allow them to survive the blistering cold and lack of breathable oxygen, but they would enjoy the very low gravity which would be half as much as our own moons gravity and might feel like bouncing on a trampoline. Looking across the surface they would see a fairly flat landscape, that is mostly made up of frozen Nitrogen. Parts of this strange alien environment might also be visible with a slight reddish tint, which is a result of methane ice turning to carbon due to exposure of ultraviolet radiation. In the distance ridges and icy plains might be seen with a few impact craters scattered across its frozen surface. Because Triton is geologically active, the explores may have to avoid the cryovolcanic eruptions, that might burst out of icy crust and spit nitrogen gas or liquid 5 miles above the surface. Looking up in to the sky the explorers would see only darkness, with the subtle light of distant stars glowing away like pin holes in blanket of space. However, If the explorers were on the side of Triton that always faces Neptune, they would have the privilege of seeing the mighty planet in all its glory, as the gas planet would look 10 times larger than our own moon does here on Earth. So far the observation of Triton has been limited to Earth-bound instruments and one visit from the Voyager 2 flyby back in 1989. But one day we will go back to the Neptunian system and explore this strange captive world that still holds many mysteries that are just waiting to be solved.

seriously such an under rated channel
I couldn't agree more. I watch this channel almost nightly as I drift off to sleep.
Your channel is a real treat for this old man. After a busy day, I can kick back, enjoy a good sativa/indica blend, stand on Triton and behold the glory of the unfolding universe. OM HUM HRI AH.
Neptune is gorgeous.
Neptune is also very dangerous
@@shantamarya841 It's winds can be faster than sound!
Ok seeing this after a year of having my chosen name to be Neptune
My friend, the specific types of concepts behind your videos are fascinating. I haven't come across any other channels that explore these curiosities like you. A+ keep it up bud!
I just came across your channel bro totally dig it. Keep up the good work
Drew Durant Thanks Drew. I hope you enjoy the channel.
Yes! Cool stuff man 👍 These videos are your best work. Keep them coming...cheers
I really enjoy your videos about planets. I know it's hard to imagine what it would be like being in them. But even though much of this could be fiction, the mind journey is very agradable. Keep doing what you do
@V101 Science your videos are immense.
Yes a video about Neptune..this video was awesome thankyou for making it
Guys, Triton being a captured Kuiper belt Dwarf Planet was foreshadowed from the start. It's similar size and composition to Pluto, the way Pluto crosses Neptune's orbit. Wow, the writers of "Solar System" are geniuses.
And this interesting moon will be ripped apart by Neptune's gravity in the distant future.
Unless we can take it. Im putting together a team.
But that won't happen for billions of years
1.5 billion to be exact. Got half the team in cryo now.
Might even give Neptune a nice ring system similar to Saturn
Your videos are really good, nice work!
Awesome video, loving your channel. Just subscribed.
Great vid man!
I love how you're very enthusiastic with every video which makes me want to watch more and more. Good work and keep it up
happy to see you finally getting more and more subscribers, you deserve it
Love all your vids dude. Instant subscribe! Keep up the good work
what would it be like to stand on callisto or ganymede please
Pluto will be next in the series, but i will look at Callisto or Ganymede for future videos.
TheVendor101 I love watching your videos! Keep up the great work! And look forward to more vids.
Carl Thomas thank you, I'm glad you enjoy them.
Ender King69 Yeah I'd love to walk on all of the planets and their moons!!! Including Ganymede, and oh how about Titan? I saw a brief video which shows an astronaut walking on Pluto and a space ship containing what apparently is one of the other astronauts in the crew, and another one walking on Pluto along with him.
TheVendor101 AWESOME!! Looking forward to seeing the Pluto videos!!! I love watching all of your videos because they are very realistic and also quite educational. Have you ever thought about making any videos about Earth like planets outside of our own solar system?
Question, why are comments disabled for the standing on Pluto video?:( I love all of your videos to death but that one is by far my favorite. What I would give to be a brave astronaut standing on Pluto.
I freaking LOVE this channel
Great video, very interesting.
Next, if possible, do a video about the scale of the universe.
Interplanetary, interstellar and intergalactic space distances.
I would be very interested by the video.
Der Tery I’d be interested too
I absolutely love these videos!
yeah callisto would be cool
👍awesome video!
New follower just tripped over channel and love it
What would it be like to stand on Io next please
i want to like your video hundred times... but unfortunately i can do it only once... great video brother thanx to upload such kinds of videos..
here is my special request that make a video with regard how space probes find path to reach distant planets moons etc. what kind of maps they use in space and interstellar space???
I forgot this channel even exists...
I wish they uploaded more frequently because they are my go to space channel. 2 or 3 videos a week would be good
Awesome channel, we love it!!
Imagine how blue everything would be when Neptune is visible on the sky of triton
It would look pretty much dark though as Neptune is very far away from the Sun!
awesome video maannn
I love the excitement in your voice :D
Fascinating!
Thanks for giving me the opportunity to see so far into space. very interesting this kind of stuff. Your presentation is good and you are well informed, aren't you.
Get it, *Neptunes Triton* ?
You are the best narrator.
My God, i would absolutely LOVE to go to space!
Cool video The surface of Triton looks amazing i would like 2 be there
Nice vid :)
Annnnnnnnnnnnnnnnd I’m back! Amazing videos
Looks really cozy
Can you do a video about standing on Pan, moon of Saturn?
That would be really cool.
Cool channel
The spaceship in the video is the Solaco from the film Aliens.
Very interesting!
Love the background music makes it even more interesting.
Thanks. So good to see this.
Long time no see m8.
2.8 billion miles? no wonder we can't see Neptune with the naked eye.
You can see Uranus while you're naked though.
@@kevmasengale6903 Uranus isn't pleasant to look at and it smells.
I read this and it took me Like 20 secs to understand it 😂😂
@@michaelterrell2108 like rotten eggs cause of hydrogen sulfide😂
Emits Neptune no deadly radiation like Jupiter or Saturn ?? I dont know for sure, so I ask you ! For the rest you made a very nice video ! I am subscribed ! Greetings from Belgium !!
They are gas giants, they would give off deadly radiation. :)
we need update once in weak !! if agree thumbs up👍...
it's like
I didn't know that Voyager was made of Lego.
Please do Pluto ☺
this video was good do more like callisto
nice video keep it up
Triton looks like a honeydew up close.
subscribed :3
Please do Sun
Hey Vendor101
Can you please add earthly measurements next to the imperial? I'd love to understand your videos more deeply.
Triton was my first project the moon is beautifully perfect
make a video of discovering near by stars
like plantes like of life and so
Would it ever be possible to send a probe to the surface of Triton, or would it be too cold?
i just realised that the description has his script
For deaf people
it would be really scary if you jumped very high from triton's surface and you start to float away in space or towards neptune
V101 kinda reminds me of Steve Irwin, the Crocodile Hunter........
does Neptune emits Radiation Like saturn jupiter and uranus ?
Wonder what would be like to stand on Saturn's frozen major moons Dione, Tethys and Enceladus.
fascinating.
Wow
Can you make a video in the same way, about Titania?
Cool
God🤦♂️.-235°c.Can we imagine what cold it is.It is close to absolute zero. But all in all an interesting moon to explore as well as miranda 🤷♂️🙂
I saw Neptune from my telescope it was clear but vague if u know what I mean but I was like dam I want to be the first person to land on it's moons or even it's surface but I will not be alive then sadly
What is the music background
That he is using??????
Vendor 101 Thank you for the informative and enjoyable video.
Since I cannot travel to this planets in actuality, this experience
was an able substitute.

🌞🌕🌖🌗🌘🌜🌛🌝🌞💫✨🌠
can you do one of pluto
it would be pretty cold!
It would freeze there faster than suffocated because of lack of oxygen.
(2:06) It sort of looks like the planet Koozebane from _The Muppet Show._
Subzero lives here thats how cold it is
What would be the radiation levels on the surface?
It’s obviously hard because of all the ice on my surface.
What would it be like to stand on Titania
that Neptun was much larger than 10 times size of the moon 😁
Not gonna lie at 1:00 thought that was a UNSC frigate appearing
Wonder what would be like standing on Saturn's frozen major moons Dione, Tethys and Enceladus.
Same frozen barren landscapes
How is Triton colder than Pluto?🤔
Checkmate
Um sir that was a lego orbiter
What would it be like to stand on Neptune?
what if we came to the clouds of Jupiter should be next Video .
I can hear a slight West country tinge to your accent.
I kinda wanna see what it would be like to stand on Uranus and Neptune. I have a theory that in Neptune you'll plop into a ocean lol.
He did Neptune and you can't because there's nothing to stand on, no solid ground just gases and clouds.
I have a colony in tritón.
In Terragenesis Game
Doesn't our moon orbit opposite too?
what would it be to stand on titan?

what would be like standing on Saturn's moon enceladus
What Would It be Like To Stand On Neptune’s Moon Proteus
bruh triton is a dwarf moon
