Hi, I own a punto 90hp. I have a few questions... Recently I am feeling a power drop/engine noise. On open Karnataka highways, while cruising at 110-120, there is too much engine noise. Could you tell me the RPM at which your car clocks 100 and 120kmph in 5th gear.
2500 and above the turbo kicks in and it gets , please check ur timing chain for the noise and make sure u use recommended engine oils only, and any leakages in turbo hose
@@ThatMalluinUK timing chain is new from hyson kochi. car is running on castrol synthetic oil and has a new clutch. Now only thing left to check is turbo. Will check that too. Planning to clean inlet manifold, maf sensor and throttle body .
Check the hoses bro and check if the timing chain is genuine and placed well
Punto 90hp will clock 100kmph at 2500 rpm. I hope your issue is resolved by now as I reply to year old comment :)

Both are good vehicles unfortunately didn't survived in Indian Market, getting spare for Ford classic won't be an issue but for Linea u have to rely on online markets. But getting a well maintained Ford classic is hard

Bro... i bought a punto 1.3 MJD 3 months ago, 2010 - 63k kms. i am facing a weird engine noise @ 1500 - 2000 rpm sometimes with sluggish performance. a little hard to gain speed above 90kmph, very noisey above 2000 rpm. my milage is between 12 - 16 both in city and highways. do you know anyone who can diagnose this issue? am from Trivandrum.
Bro it might be because turbo issues or timing chain, u can consult deedhi motors trivandrum or u can check at Benz motors adoor, dont know the work quality of dheedhi now
