- Watch our exclusive interview with Staff Sergeant Ahmed Inaim, a Bedouin soldier who guards Israel's sensitive Gaza border. Staff Sgt. Inaim's brother, who also served as an IDF soldier, was killed in combat several years ago. In 2006, Hamas terrorists injured another of his brothers when they attacked Israel and kidnapped Gilad Shalit.
Despite his family's sacrifices, Staff Sgt. Inaim remains determined to serve his country. Last week, he spoke with us as he patrolled the border at sunrise.

Thanks, but Israel already gave aay all of the Sinai, and even Gaza in 2005. They created a 'state' there. What was the result? They elected Hamas and fired missles into the rest of Israel. Fact is there has never been an insdependent Arab state in that land, only Israel. There are 58 other Muslim nations and only 1 tiny 3300 year old jewish nation. Why not let the Muslims live in peace in those 58 other nations? As to those Israeli Arabs who suport Israel, they are welcome here and enjoy full rights to live as they wish.

for all the ones who claim it's proganda, just google it " the bedoiun battalion in idf". it's not proganda and not lies. i met those soldiers many times in my millitary service, i even knew one of them personally, he lives in arab village next to my town.
besides druzes, christian arabs and cherkesis there is also arab muslims that serve in different jobs in the army (not including the bedoiun battalion). there was few patrols's drivers who were arab-muslims.

Based on upbringing, culture, events etc. we all have different views and so I guess that God can justify good or bad things. God gives faith and belief to people. he might not have time. i'm in israel right now and i'm staying at a religious jewish family (i'm also religious) and one of the family members is in the army. usually, the army gives him enough time to pray, but other times they don't have the time to wait for him, as he's one of the most important people in his unit

I am Jewish Israeli and I tell you there are Muslims who serve in the IDF for example Bedouins and Druzes got mandatory service like Jews too, because its part of there culture to serve the country whom they live.

Bedouins, who are Muslims, generally enlist in the IDF. The other much bigger group is the Israeli Druze. Smaller group is the Israeli-Arabs who are Christians. The smallest group, as expected, is the Israeli-Arabs who are Muslims but feels it is their duty to support the country they were born and grew up, Israel.
