Boxer IFV + Skyranger 30: This Truck Can SHOOT DOWN Drones and Planes!

Germany is boosting its air defences by purchasing 19 Skyranger 30 mobile gun systems mounted on Boxer IFVs. This €650 million acquisition is intended to close a capacity gap and improve protection for its "middle forces."
The Skyranger 30 has a 30mm gun, superior sensors, and the capability to integrate missiles such as Stinger or Mistral. It is part of a wider German effort, the NNbS, to create a multilayered air defence system for short and medium-range threats.
This transaction also shows the Boxer platform's adaptability, which can be customised for different tasks by switching modules. The Skyranger 30 marks a significant advance in German air defence capabilities and contributes to a larger European effort to modernise its defences.
