Good morning. I enjoyed your video. We are in Bland County, Va and have a similar purpose - ours is a homestead - regenerative, organic and pasture raised. We save the same breed of turkeys - Royal Palms. . I look forward to viewing your progress. Thank you for your service. We just planted some fruit trees ourselves. One thing we keep saying, one step at a time - baby steps.
Praying for your success. i live in Dunmore 4 yrs now and been developing veggie gardens, berry gardens, little fruit tree orchard, and a flower garden all on virgin soil. I live 1.5 hours from a store that has organics. So i am trying to grow my own food. It is all a big undertaking in our old age. You seem to be doing a great job.
Thank you for encouraging these growers/producers. Best wishes for your endeavors to provide your own food. It is not for the faint of heart. I appreciate you watching !
Sounds like a huge undertaking..i wish you well! Im doing blackberries, blueberries, strawberries and fruit trees, as well, only on a much smaller scale..if the economy goes south, im contemplating bartering for necessities with fruit..
Ok - to clarify - this must be a same name scenario. My JarHead Farm friends have not been in operation in another location! Thanks for watching and asking the question!
I am familiar with the other Jarhead Farm I watched his 4 videos last night after watching another channel interview him. He has a 60 year old farm garden that is no- till great man. This farm is using the same name and is very new it should be renamed. Investigate your potential name first to make sure it's not already taken. Here in Michigan you have to contact the county with 3 name choices listed in order as preferred to least preferred. The county checks the names for you and assigns one that is not already taken in your order of choice. If the first name is taken then they check the next choice if it's also taken then you move to #3. If all are taken then you must resubmit a new request. I know Arkansas will not check for you. Not sure about Georgia.
@@denisewilson8367 Name designation is state-by-state, Not a national thing. In WV we apply for a business name before we apply for a business license and if the name is already taken, then another name must be created.
I planted shallots with my strawberry's and something came and ate all the shallots and left the strawberry's. I bet it was the very uncivilized squirrels, SAVAGES.
Hello, May I share the most important news you will ever hear in entire life? God the Father sent His holy Son Jesus Christ(Y'shua Ha' Mashiach) from heaven to earth, to be born of a virgin. He grew up and died on the cross for our sins. He was put into a tomb for 3 days, and then Abba Father raised Jesus to life and He appeared to people and went back to Heaven. We must all sincerely receive Jesus to be a true child of God. It says in John 1:12 "But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name." Will you genuinely believe on Christ Jesus and truly receive Him today, before it is too late?
Good content here and it’s an encouragement to getting into different AG enterprises.
Semper Fi JarHead.
Thanks! We appreciate the encouraging comments!
