Such a great dress! The colour and style looks lovely on you. I think we are always more picky with things we have made ourselves. The zips for feeding are genius! ❤

Thank you so much 😊 definitely pickier because I made it 😄 it would be so lovely for it to be perfect though!

I love your dress. I think that, because you've made it, you are more picky about it. I see what you mean about the shoulders but would not have noticed if you hadn't mentioned it. I have to say that I find polyester very difficult to sew with and to wear as it does not have any sort of stretch in it whereas viscose is not great from the creasing point of view but is better for pressing and has a little bit of stretch. Minerva has loads of colours in their viscose and I'd say it's quite opaque too.

@@mnoeliarc thank you! Yes that’s proabably true about me being picky! 🤭 I’ll have to get some viscose samples - thank you! 🩷

@@ElderflowerStitchesI hope the being picky didn't come across as negative. I make my own clothes and I can always find something that I feel I could change about them to make them just that little but better. However, the beauty of sewing is that you can make improvements and you'll end up with the perfect dress 😊
