pile 2 - this is my friend who i encouraged to go to law school. no one believed he'll make it. i helped him develop good study habits, i called him when he's down and when he felt like giving up. we made a pinky promise he'll become a lawyer, i a doctor.
i protected him from people, things, and experiences, that will distract him from his study.
when he was already comfy with law school, i detached and focused on myself and my med school. but i fully distanced myself when he lashed out at me when i felt overwhelmed.
