Haha after posting it, I thought that this title is a bit clickbait in fact ! But in the end, that’s how I felt while making the music so I let it that way. Thanks for listening !
Thanks a lot as always 🙏🏼 I’m very fine actually ! Just so caught up with life that I didn’t have the time to record a video in a while. And didn’t have time to hang out on RUclips as well.. If you like those, you’ll get a treat in the upcoming months ! I’ve recorded an improvised album in one take with the OT and the IPad which will be released soon. Long form 50 minutes ambient release divided into four part. I was planning to shoot the recording but I forgot to start the camera… and as I do only first take… oh well ! For the next one !
Thanks 🙏🏼 the percussions is a sample chain I made from the vinyl carving station by Rattly and Raw www.rattlyandraw.com/productinfo/the-vinyl-carving-station-1 And the kick is an out of tune piano sample which comes with the OT (don’t remember which one though)
@@SoundOfRaymond whoa that vinyl cutting the VST is built around sounds like an interesting process. Funny about the kick, I would never have guessed. I need to resample more on my own OT, because then I could get wackier with the sound design but still print out a sample at the end to use on a relatively "clean" blank track.
@@philmakesnoise Yes definitely it is ! Don't hesistate to buy the VST it's very cheap. It is bonestly worth the few bucks even if it's just for the samples. Resampling is cool on the OT but you can already find some cool stuffs by pushing sounds and parameter to their edges. If you balance them out then, you can go to cool places. For example this piano turned into a kick.
You had me at ‘long useless ambient jam on the Octatrack’.

Your videos are always an inspiration to me. I love the way you nail octatrack. I hope you are well … and I hope to see more videos from you soon 🙌
