Makes me wonder if you would ever be interested in making a video about giving books second chances and reporting back. I’d be interested in watching. I know that’s a broad notion, but it is intentionally so. Maybe books you had DNF’d or 1 star rated prior or even ones you skipped for whatever reason. I think it could be fun!
@@LB_5346 thank you! TBH one star reviews and DNF’s are a very rare thing for me. That being said I am giving some serious consideration to going back and reevaluating Jane Austin after being forced to read her in school and developing a life-long aversion.
@ fair fair! I can’t think of a book I’ve DNF’d tbh. I’m sure there are some but eh..? And yeah, for me it was “A Separate Peace” in high school that I wholly loathed. I can’t even remember why but I can remember HATING it. Luckily, we read To Kill A Mockingbird in the same semester, and it’s still one of my absolute favorites to this day

@@peterpeter4090 Thanks man. Actually, yes, that was on purpose. A small experiment to see if it would make any material difference to the impressions from the RUclips algorithm. Immediate reaction is that it does. A huge one. I might need to edit the f-bombs out on RUclips to prevent the video from becoming lost in the doldrums.
SJM writes PTSD well and I appreciate that. I recall a lot of people saying she was being whiny and killing all the innocent people and I was like... Ah yes, because you've all taken a life before and totally know how it affects someone who isn't a psychopath (of which Feyre is not, so she feels incredibly bad). How badass of you all to think it wouldn't affect you... NOT.

I am pretty critical of the book, but credit where credit’s due, I actually think that was managed pretty sensitively.
