Red seal $2 notes are not so rare. I see them at flea markets frequently for $4-$8. Also, a solid (filled-in) star can be found on any denomination, not just $2.
We were cleaning out a house one day and there was a big dresser closset that was locked i finally got it open and started looking through it. I came across an envalope and when i looked in it it was full of 2 dollar bills from the 50's. Unfortunately i had to give them up. Don't know how many there were.
So I went to the bank and got some fresh ones; though during the process I heard talk. I should have gotten the 30 some "unfit" (I guess used) ones from the vault... maybe used but might have more goodies. What do you think?
@thecoinchanneltube, So I have a Thomas Jefferson gold $1 coin, and on the back, there is a line going from "you" in "united" through "lady liberty," a little over halfway. Also, it looks like there is a continuous line going around the rim slightly. Is this anything of significance?
I think I found a 1982 Denver mint penny with skinny 8 2 and w and I would like to send you a picture to see if it is that coin, where can I contact you?
Just saw a story where an elementary school kid got arrested for using a $2 bill. They said it was counterfeit. Idiot's I swear.
