    This is impressive.
El-Rufia is a visionary leader. He did so much to build the city. He stepped on toes to achieve the set blueprint.
It is so sad no minister has bought into that vision. El-Rufia's name will be etched on the landmarks in the FCT.

your statement about "crappy leaders" is correct. Only maybe two or three out of 1million of them have any idea, or vision of how to improve the Nigerian Society and create jobs for our teeming population. And I also think that El-Rufai destroyed mostly houses that were built illegally, the Nigerians that built these houses knew that they were taking a chance with Government town-planning and regulations. My father too had an uncompleted structure somewhere in Abuja that was demolished...(I cautioned him but he would not listen). A lot of Nigerians would like the politicians to tackle Corruption in the Country, but yet they would cry foul when they themselves break the law. Our people can be very funny a times...

Just look at the breath-taking view, abeg! Every time you say..."look at what he has done", I feel like crying. He did a lot but no one would ever give him the respect of fairness in his undertakings. What he did was set the TEMPLATE as it where, so that every other Minister that came behind him would (build on top of that...) But for where! Did they even look in that direction. And even that untarred road you showed in the beginning, that you said would connect Karshi to Apo and other places...That should have been finished by now. I don't understand how they could sit on all that money and then watch our Beautiful landscape dwindle to Nothing!!!

Another nice video. As you said, we need leaders with vision, which is what is missing in Nigeria. Its hard to believe, that the layout of Karshi was done 10 years ago. If real estate developers move in, the place would definitely be beautiful. Am sure, this will happen eventually, with the continuous growth of Abuja. To think that many states in Nigeria don't have good roads, and here we find a good network of roads, that has been abandoned. Why we have this curse of starting something, then don't finish it, is a mystery to me.

Probably your dad build on illegal land, that is what many Nigerians does by using their position to do illegal things, don't forget that Abuja is the only well planed city in Nigeria. So many people want to cut corner, they don't want to follow rules and regulations of doing things. What if bandits and "killer herdsmen" jump out of the bushes and pursue you...then there will be no more Great Videos of Abuja to show us, and the rest of the World. Me, I cannot do this by myself. You are a very brave RUclipsr, my brother. For me to do this, I must have at least 6 to 8 people with me. And everyone must carry something with them; bible, koran, "witchdoctor's charm", an angry "Nigerian Youth", or two. Everybody must have one thing or the other for protection.
