The official pics of the movie dolls just got released today! I like the gold disco doll the best, but this doll is growing on me. The boil wash definitely helped. If I get her, I may try to pour boiling water on the bangs so that it is not fluffy and then I will trim it to see if that will improve the look.

The remote control car only seats two dolls and the doors don't open. I AM SO EXCITED!! But am selling some items online to pay back my credit card. Her bangs look a lot better. If the picture at 4:32 is of the President Barbie ...... she's got a made to move body (or the for me "not so good" collector m2m body , with less articulation). That means we could get also an official blond movie made to move Barbie too.
I think she's really cute! I don't mind the bangs cause I like the retro look! She also would have been cute with a side part and headband, like the photo on the back of the box! OMG! That car is to die for!!! Outstanding for display! Maybe they're using that cheap stiff fabric because it doesn't fade nor transfer stains to the doll? Only time will tell! But it doesn't feel nice, and if you get a wrinkle in it, it never smooths out! I have to say, I almost cried when she was looking at the other dolls in their case!😢 It was so sweet! I am surprised if the cost is going to be up, and because of the movie tie in, that Mattel would not make a better quality material for her clothes. I do like they make the earrings removeable, wish she had more than one pair. Older Barbies, out in the 1960s came with more jewelry', and at the time, it was metal. We can't risk metal on her plastic, but a variety, and painted to look better would be nice. I hope they come out with the headband, and dress she wears on the back of the box. That is so cute.

I actually like the doll face sculpt, and I think Arjen is 100% right that the doll's face sculpt is supposed to be a blend of Margot Robbie and the classic "Barbie face." I am disappointed that the gingham dress is not made with good quality fabric, so I'm glad the review mentioned that. I know that it's normal for $25 Mattel dolls to have "plasticky" fabric, but I'm really hoping the Cowgirl / Western Barbie doll is made with great quality fabric since it's more expensive.

I wonder why Mattel doesn't just scrap the articulated body and just do all of them with the MTM body? Why do we need both versions when one is so much better? Doesn't it cost them more to have both bodies in production? I honestly don''t love how the articulated body looks, the arms are very skinny, like toothpicks. Yes the MTM joints are kind of ugly but I still like how they look more.

(In that dress all in gold, they could, for example, make her an eyeshadow of the same color, or a blue eye pencil for another one... or, eyes looking to the side) Well no! They are 4 DOLLS ALL THE SAME make-up!!! They differ only in the dress, accessories and hairstyle. 😢

Various versions of Barbie Margot Robbie from the Barbie The Movie. But did you notice one thing? They all have the exact same face, or rather, the same facial make-up. (In that dress all in gold, they could, for example, make her an eyeshadow of the same color, or a blue eye pencil for another one... or, eyes looking to the side) Well no! They are 4 DOLLS ALL THE SAME make-up!!! They differ only in the dress, accessories and hairstyle. 😢
That is indeed true 🙄 I would have loved to see different face paints on her face, now well just have to wait to see what the repainters will create with her 😉
When I first saw this doll, it was on the thumbnails of youtubers who were being sooo mean about her, but i looked at her and I was likeee, I kinda like her, am I going crazy?! ( cus everyone was putting barf emojis on their thumbnails talking about the doll ) Stop being mean people, atleast we getting the movie!

Thank you for your amazing Videos 💖💖☺️ for me the Barbie movie dolls are probably a pass 🥺 I can't with that cheapy fabric they come and for the price you pay for 🙈 In Switzerland over CHf 70,00 for one doll 🙈 maybe if the golden one with the jumpsuit is in better quality so maybe but acording to the pictures probably not 🙈☺️Sad the hairband is attached to the head would be nicer if its a separate piece but this is complain at high level 🤣🙈
