The songs are also listed individually on his YT site but if you do them one at a time make sure you do them in the correct order of Jenny's tale, Screech's tale and Violet's tale. It's outstanding and I'm so taken aback with this young man. I'm excited for him that he's blowing up right now and it seems to be happening exactly when it was needed in his life. While he's away getting treatment we're all listening to his music and making donations to his GoFundMe to help in his treatment which he found out is going to be 6 months. He’s really smart about acoustics and the way sound, sounds. One of my favorite things about Hi Ren is the sweet reverb and decay at the very end of the song. In this one it’s the SNAP! of the folding chair even before it starts. But the guitar sounds beautiful in that room, with just that tiny little amp attachment.
So, hey, another reaction channel I watch pointed out that in the UK, they actually tune their music to a slightly higher frequency, so it sounds just a touch sharp to us in the US.
I'm looking forward to seeing the Bittersweet Symphony reaction too! To me, their harmonics are Haunting and lovely together in Chalk outlines. He does have one other song with Chinchilla called How to Be Me. Also, There is an amazing duet with Eden Nash called Humble, it's a beautiful duet but the beat in that one is amazing too.
@@tazzznphilly If you don't remember the original version by the Verve, take a peek before you react to Ren's version. The similarities and differences are really kind of interesting. Same premise of walking down the street but the feel and energy is completely different.
Yes, I did see that really did consider reacting to that yesterday. However, we had these already planned so that will be coming soon. The original song is one of my favorite British rock songs of all time.
Great reaction. I have been watching Ren busking in Brighton (UK) for seven years and he is never less than captivating. He has many busking videos showing his beautiful voice and versatility but Chalk Outlines is one of my favourites. I hope you will continue on your Ren journey.

A really good showcase for Ren and Chinchilla without having to try to unravel inner meanings is their live on the street cover of "Sexual Healing" by of course Marvin Gaye. These two sound so natural together! Just search Ren Sexual Healing and the video will pop right up. But they have more stuff together too. They need to keep collaborating! But by all means, don't sleep on the Sexual Healing video!

This is the first channel I’ve seen trying to work with two people in different rooms. It looks like it takes practice but can work. I’ve been wanting to do one with my son but I’m moving away so this has been something I’ve considered but wondered how it might work. Looks like it can! There's a few reaction channels that operate remotely. It takes some extra engineering to get all synced up, but if you put in a little effort, you can totally make it work. Good luck!
