IDFC Facility Session 3 - Tools & Software for Carbon Accounting

This session introduced participants to the fundamentals of carbon accounting and the science of carbon footprinting. The discussion highlighted the importance and relevance of carbon accounting within financial institutions. Participants also learned the basics of greenhouse gas emissions, including Global Warming Potential (GWP), and explored carbon equivalent sources and sinks.
