Shelly just feels right considering how long she was at the top. She wasnt the most cracked over a short period like charlie or hank but she was present through too much of the year to not be considered the best of 2023.
That’s ultimately what it came down to for me too. Her presence was felt for most of the year, and I don’t think it ever quite crossed that line like those two. She was banned a bunch for BSC but a few nerfs she seems just right!

Ima December 12th 2018 day one Brawl Star player...I have all 77 brawlers maxed power 11s...all gadgets and star power achieved and I have at least 2 gears per but I have all shield and health per brawler....im sitting on 100k+ gold,.....50k+ token doubler,....and 25k+ power points....1k gems..and I prob dropped @ least $2500 in cash since I started playing....im currently at 37745 on trophy road & always rising...daily brawling and don't see myself stopping anytime soon...come see me on the battlefield & YoJoeits.4.2.0 will smack ya into next Tuesday....nd if ur on my team we gonna bring down the house........P.S..top 5 for me is (Charlie.....Colt....Spike..... Pearl.....&Edgar) the 5 worst by far is [Hank.....Gus....Bonnie....Chuck.....&Mico]
For competitive, he wasn’t super threatening until he got his Hypercharge which wasn’t until late in the year. He didn’t get a ton of votes in the public poll either, but he could certainly rise in 2024!
