Iriki and Tayari are still young mothers so they like to have fun, but they are excellent mommy's. And D'Jeeco, well he's the dude. Great father, leader, and husband. There is so much love in this troop.
Poor D'Jeeko! All he wanted to do was take a little nap on his newly found hay. Not happening today with 1 wife stealing his hay, the other stealing and eating his fur while his son's crawl and play all over him. What a beautiful, happy, loving & crazy family!! 💕💕💕

This silverback doesn’t stand alert as much as Momo does all the time! It looks like it makes a difference in what their environment is like! They seem to have a much better social interactions than most troops do.

Hey guys, what is the hay for. What do the gorilla 🦍 do with the hay. Can someone please tell me cause I don’t know. I’m learning about these gorillas 🦍
According to my observation, most of the hay provided by zookeepers after rainy day, maybe the cave or the grass was too wet. And the hay can help to facilitate their nesting behavior.

When J does not get attention he goes and attacks Ringo..he is a little bully..just like his mom. Ringo is going to be fierce..he will be strong soon. These are very intelligent animals.
I've noticed Jabali becoming more of a bully towards Ringo, as well. I'm guessing it's pretty normal behavior but I'm really not sure. Regardless, every single member of this family is pretty amazing, in their own right, & so fun to watch.
