I thought the same thing was done by the north people also. So we should genuinely recognise and give credits to the good things out there irrespective of where they came from.

Picking on the audience is to break the ice and get the crowd warmed up. It creates anticipation among the crowd. These are all common ploys that all entertainers, event announcers, speakers etc do. Even the best of the best comedians do this. But if that is all a comedian does, that’s this guy because that’s all he does. It 90% fun by mocking, lack of preparation. Check out his page, it would be with audience’s interaction mostly.
People recognise the worth of the creator using the "numbers" rather than seeing the quality of content and the efforts they have put in, ig that's the reason south Indian creators are so underrated....In my opinion, I watch both contents and personally feel the efforts put by the regoinal creators are of high quality.
Its better if you partition the 1 hour podcast as 30mins into 2 vedios because most of the viewers will skip after a enough screentime and then later will be forgetting to continue watching the podcast 🙌🏻❤

Dial down on your repetitiveness and be more sensitive to the person you are interviewing - you are going on and on about advertisements even after he acknowledged and rationalized his perspective. It would just be embarassing to him after a point. Also, nothing to be proud about in voting tamil/telugu content without paying heed to content quality. You are promoting the same bias that you complain about happening in the North.
