    Why intensifying screen also present under the x-ray film??

    • @5minDENTISTRY
      @5minDENTISTRY  4 года назад

      The base of intensifying screen is reflective in nature. The aim of intensifying screen is to minimize patient exposure, therefore by keeping an intensifying screen with a reflective base on either side of the film, increases the exposure of film for a given radiation. You can refer 1:46 to 3:00 to substantiate the above explanation. Hope our explanation cleared the doubt! Any further doubts are welcome !

    Lecture was good.
    Just work on your accent! Many many words have unnecessary stress upon syllables ! Which is annoying!
    Best of luck.
