Fan since 1975. In 1990 ( I was actually there) when the Kiss logo came up during I Want You I lost my mind. The place went insane. I didn't go, ""Man this blows, the sign isn't correct."
The guys from Kiss Forever, an argentine fanzine, they were invited by the band to get into the venue after the turmoil started, they had their tickets, but when the band new about what was happening outside Estacion Mapocho, having done some interviews with them earlier, they took the fanzine stuff to one sides of the stage to see the show
Julian, I just got kiss on tour all 3 volumes on Amazon so far I’m loving it. Well done. Just wish some of the pictures were a little more crisp but not a big deal at all. At $20 each you can’t beat it.
Thank you for your support! The downside to the print-on-demand method is that photos and images sometimes aren't as crisp as they might otherwise be. I'd love to do a Kisstory sized single volume with color and high-quality imagery, but dread to think what the shipping weight and all-in price would be for that these days!!
Andrew you must have seen a visual evolution ,i thought it was one of the best covering 73-79 period on the band .when i first saw it i thought it was put out by the band as it had very good production values and rumored to have been done by someone who worked in television production and it had almost broadcast quality clips on it and whoever created it would be a really great guest to track down ,the band was aware of it before the reunion and i hear Ace had a copy which he liked and showed it to the band pre-reunion. Love this podcast.
Fan since 1975. I disagree. I wanted to hear 80's songs on the 80's and ever since. However, I wanted to really hear songs they weren't playing. I wanted to hear Danger, Creatures (every tour), I wanted Out of the Cold, Exciter, A Million to One, friends who wanted Not for the Innocent. I wanted My Way, Turn on the Night, Paul's Animalize songs past the Animalize tour, I wanted Reason to Live, Forever to keep being played year after year. I wanted I'll Fight Hell to Hold you. I wanted King of Hearts. All the songs listed here and others are just as good as anything from the 70's. The biggest problem in the 80's (whoever is to blame) is the tempo of the songs played and song choice. So may incredible songs never played or just a few times and let go. Lost chances.
Andrew is a clown for saying 1996 Kiss was better vs 1979 Kiss on tour . You weren't there you didn't see the 79 Tour and don't have a clue. You do the with most of your takes about 70's Kiss. No cue what so ever.
Claudio is such a great guest! Love his artwork series, cheers from Vancouver
Happy to have Claudio on!!!
Awesome episode!!!

Great episode lads, and anyone with the word 'audio' in their name is cool in my books!
So Claudio....there will be an Originals episode?? Can't wait!!!
