Hunter is my favorite so I loved this episode so much. Also, if you didn't notice, when he's whistling, he's whistling the show's theme song, breaking the fourth wall.

You do not have to worry about Hunter crushing on Luz or the other way around. They have more of a sibling relationship
Not to spoil anything, but there is a very specific reason for Hunter’s “lack of melanin” so to speak

Yeah, I love all the designs that toe the line of being bizarre and grotesque, without just being Akira-style flesh monstrosities. Give me more of that Garden of Earthly Delights/Last Judgement vibes. All of it.

9:50 It’s actually kind of funny this scene in particular got you to say this. In the original early rough drafts Hunter was actually supposed to blush a little after Luz looked at him for getting excited over wild magic. Obviously it was removed, maybe as to not cause confusion giving off the impression he liked her but to me it more struck me as an “Oh I sound nerdy” embarrassment blush then a crush blush. We’ve seen those kinds of blushes in the show before, and then of course blushes meant to show actual romantic interest.

I have to ask, just because it's been cut out in every episode this batch - you ARE seeing the cold opens, right? Young Eda finding the portal door in episode 4, Gus explaining how he injured Willow in episode 5, and Belos turning into a violent swamp looking monster in this episode? Just want to make sure they're not getting skipped by accident, because they're pretty crucial.
Totally understand if it's being cut out of the final video for copyright reasons, just wanna make sure tech issues aren't hindering your viewing experience.

It was weird looking back on it that Viney and Jerobo were at the Palismin adoption event but Emira and Edric weren't given how I'm pretty sure the 4 of them are in the same class year wise.
Viney and Jerbo are in the same year as Luz.
