if the person had not gone to pee, the badbeat would not have taken place since the cards would have been dealt differently between the players at the table.

Your comment about the JJ player only playing that one hand, and then dipping, caused me to spit all my tea out as I burst out laughing. Was not expecting that.
This is awesome, love to see it. Brings back good memories, I won a BBJ at the Rock in 2007. Had pocket 5's, flopped Quads. Kid with A2 Spades hit runner runner for the straight flush. I put him all in on the River & he took at least a minute to call with a straight flush, he didn't know he had the nuts lol. One guy went to the washroom so we were 9 handed, if he was there it wouldn't have happened. I gave him some cash after. I took home $35K. A Saturday night at the Rock during the boom, the room was packed. To this day, ppl still ask me about that hand. Great times...

That is absolutely nuts. You are the fourth poker vlogger that I follow that hit a bad beat jackpot within the last month. Ben Deach, Sam Ho, and Mack's bet. That's an insane coincedence. All three of them made vlogs about it. Last weekend I hit a 147k jackpot on a slot machine when I was in Vegas to play poker. Totally insane. I was able to pay off all my debts, help some people I care about and still add to my bankroll and savings. When they asked me how I wanted to be paid I said cash instinctively. So I was left with the interesting problem of getting 147k in cash home safely from Vegas. There are worse problems to have! Thankfully its all safe in the bank now. Congrats on the good fortune! I hope you use it to do some good in your life and the people you care about. What days are you in Vegas? I'll be there again the 24-27th. Would love to meet up and play! Been a long time follower.
Wow congrats on the hit. That's awesome! I'm leaving today (22nd). Would have loved to meet up and play some with you but looks like this trip isn't it. Thank you for your support since my start.
Wow, super congrats!!!! Took me 19 years of playing poker before I got table share of a badbeat jackpot that was $850. I am happy though that I finally got to be part of one. Can't imagine how amazing that must have been for you!!!!! I am happy for you man!!!!!
No one should be hating man. Congrats to you that is insane. I only play online as I like the comfort of my home when I play it this video gonna make me go to the casino😂

Congrats... Of course you deserve it. Gives us all hope. PS the homie Bluffalo Sam could use a boost right now on his way to 2 mill net worth. Nobody that has watched your videos consistently is on some hate or jealousy trip. If anyone one of us plays long enough we could hit could be the next session or 20 years. Congrats again.
FYI: the cage at every casino I’ve ever heard of has separate tips from table games. Also the poker room and poker dealers are separate from the other table games at almost all tables. In short if you want to tip a poker dealer you need to actually tip the dealer. Even the poker room manager has separate tips. So I n short the cage pretty much never will be giving those tips to the dealers. Ever. In any casino.
3:36 Mixing in this min-click raise after opponent checks two streets gets a fold such a high percentage of the time it's a decent way to get +EV postflop with any hand, especially in these low stakes cash games. If you get check raised here you can easily just fold out with minimal losses.
Wizard of Odds has a tip formula for jackpots of any sort. It's generally taking double (square root of the amount you won minus $1,100). He pegs a $100,000 jackpot as a tip of $629, so the tip would be somewhere in that range? That said, here's my stupid question regarding BBJs - have you ever heard of a situation where two people who absolutely hated each other won a BBJ with a hand against each other, and then decided to take their winnings and sit down heads up until one of them entirely busted the other?
Nope. But the heads up match wouldn't have an even starting stack as one would have double the starting stack of the other, giving him an advantage. Also if sticking to their stakes (BBJs commonly are hit at 1/3) that match could take forever depending on the jackpot size.
@@KeevinPokerVlog I get that - I mean a 1v1 cash game where the dude who has less money doesn't give a crap that the has less money, he just thinks so little of the other person he legitimately thinks he can just bust them starting at a 2:1 deficit. And I figure the stakes would definitely change when two people get five or six figures from a BBJ. It's almost unheard of - but I figure there are enough poker beefs out there for it to have happened at least once?
Dude thats awesome. The money is amazing but i want to experience the feeling of winning it. The money will be huge, but just that moment of bliss knowong you won huge amount. The dopamine hit would be huge. 🤣
Always take cash and leave immediately after payout with escort. I used to work in a poker room and heard horror stories of the casinos withdrawing the bad beat after dealer collusion or player collusion was suspected. In one instance, the checks that were issued were cancelled.
Loved the "Stay Calm" background during the BB segment 😂 Do you ever flat AKo out of the blinds in those situations? Not sure what solvers say, and know a 1-3 game is more about exploiting. I've gotten many table shares at places with easier Jackpots. Only 2 times was it not just Aces full beat by quads.....one was Quad J over Quad 7. Other was Royal over Straight Flus right on the flop (AKs vs 89s). Never have actually gotten a big or little share. Did have a Straight Flush beat a guys Quads (I had it on the turn and he caught the Quads on the river) but no bad beat at that casino. Enjoy the windfall.....suggestions. Pay off as much debt as you can, that will help you more in the long run than anything. Save a good chunk for future/retirement 10-20%. where you don't touch it. Take 10-20% and just enjoy it with your wife.....a trip, an amenity you will share together, etc. Then a bit for your own, like Vegas even though trip was already planned.
What I've learned from playing 1/3 frequently the past few months is that 4-bet or even 3-betting AK can be value owning yourself against a lot of players (they don't even open raise with worse). So yea, I think there are spots I can flat AK in 1/3, especially when not that deep. Thanks for the financial advice. All very sound. Thank you for the reminder to stay grounded.
