Thanks for taking us along. This surely brings back memories of past visits. Perhaps on another excursion to the night market, you could show us some of the cultural shops that survived the shutdown or show us storefronts of those that decided not to reopen? I'm curious how many businesses made it back.
Thank you Caiden! I was curious about this also and asked a coffee shop manager this same question. She indicated that their store stayed in business at the same pace during the pandemic.
That is one of the best video production on RUclips since the horrible pandemic hit the whole world! Very sad to see the vibrant Chamorro Village covered with dust, that depict the current depression and present fact...
That beach (San Luis Beach) was the very first tropical beach I ever set foot on (1974). Black tip shark breeding ground and a lot of sea turtles there. I still visit there from time to time.
Chamorro night market has been going since the early 2000s. Agana-Hagatna is undergoing a massive transformation. Have you seen the planned restoration of the city? It’s the oldest European colonialized city in the Pacific Basin.
Unfortunately my families restaurant/bar which was in your video (Chamorro Island BBQ) is still suffering to business hardship due to COVID. A real eye opener watching this.
I like that your the only one that has to side step people what a life it would be if only you could just walk without a care in the world well maybe next life lol
Brother we need to make our real food from our island we need to stop pretending like we're from Hawaii or somewhere show the real island food's people look at us and there thinking that we want to be from there island ......let me know
Guam is such a melting pot of cultures I'm sure it's difficult for traditional food to dominate on the island. I guess just try and promote local businesses. I'm showing Pica's Cafe in my next video and hope this will inspire you.

Watching from FLORIDA. This makes me so homesick and the food 😋 💘 🇬🇺💘
I wish I'd eaten more traditional food, but in the next video, I go to Pika's Cafe, which serves very Guam food. Please check it out.
So great to see something return to the island after the lock down.

I'm very excited for Guam. I was in Guam a month ago and walked through chamorro village which was a ghost town. The island is alive again.
