Since the Huawei Ban , I'm trying to get more distance from Google services . I'm a fan of Huawei devices , and I think that the right way isn't to try to get what it missed , but looking forward and change habitude. I'ts just my opinion
On the international version on the mate40 pro (I've got the UK version) - NOH-NX9 EMUI 11.0.0.127 (C432E6R4P1) it won't work at all, blocked all access. However, it will work on the Chinese version of the device NOH-AN00 EMUI 11.0.0.125 and the latest update 11.0.0.130 it does work! Love the videos! Keep up the goodwork!

Just download HiSuite to your pc and plug your phone. You can downgrade from there.

I noticed some videos from China where they install gms on emui 11. Unfortunately it didn't work in my international version of the p40 pro. It does seem to work for the Chinese versions. Do you know if there is any development for the international versions?

Confirmed working on P40 PRO !!! Firmware must be before June 15th of 2020! Otherwise you need to downgrade. And you need to be on EMUI 10. Downgrade tutorial coming end of this week will link here.

I have a question for you. I wanna buy a Matepad Pro, but I'm a bit concerned about the EMUI 10/11 dilemma. Say it's running EMUI 10 out of the box, and I install GMS through googlefier without updating to EMUI 11, Would I then be able to upgrade to EMUI 11 after having the Google apps installed and keep all those apps?
Another security concern, are you granting LZplay admin rights on your phone? I'm sure you can see the huge security problem with having an unknown entity from China admin rights to your phone.

But, what I whant to say is that many of YT make bad video about Huawei, they are laying and they are no so much HONEST youtubers. Because of that I want from him to make camera comparisons.
About camera on Mate 40 Pro, it is very good, and in 90% best. But still for now they have some ridiculous problems with camera. Maybe they will fix in future updates, maybe they will make camera on HongMeng 2.0 mauch better. We will see.

I am not sure but in the video i didnt see the step about installing Microg, at the top of the manager you see 3 install buttons, youtube, youtube music and vanced microg, install the microg first, then go back and install both of the other 2 programs. :)
Hey loving the channel! Could you find a solution to install Google services for the mate40 Pro? I've read online that the chinese version of the device works not the international/european version you cannot install GMS! Help!!

I installed google GSM by following previous methods but some other apps have sign in issues after system update. Now I want to try googlefier, my question is Do I need to remove all google such as framework, google play store, etc before new installations?

@Stanley.M Are you sure it's the same? The 10th EMUI devices listed (see P40, Mate30) (and can be restored to previous states, however, the Mate 40 Pro starts with EMUI 11. Techmagnet also writes, "Huawei mate 40 pro google installation soon!" from him that is not the same!

No you need to be on march patch 10.1
For EMUI 11, you can still install GMS using these instructions:

My huawei Y9s still have Emui 10. There is available system update around 2.5gb. I was worried that if I update it that I lose Google play store. My question is can I still update it with out losing Google playstore. Thanks.

I used the previous method to install Google Play Store onto my P40 Pro but suddenly from 13 Oct'21 onwards, Google Play prompts "This device isnt Play Protect Certified". And I cannot use anymore Google Play store and all google apps. TechMagnet do you know how to solve this problem??

E, imam Nova5T, za sad je jos na 10.0.1 emui, al ce od izmedju januara i marta 2021 stici emui 11.
A onda nakon toga se nadam da ce doci i HarmonyOs na njega, jer citajuci razne recenzije sto strane sto neke nase pise da hoce dobiti novi Os.
E, za P50 Pro sam procitao da ce doci sa Emui 11 i Android 11 ☺️
@@lovric600 za Harmony OS na Nova 5T sam i ja čitao da dolazi ali sam za P50 seriju čuo da će biti prva serija koja će dolaziti upravo sa Harmony a ne Android OS. Sad od tebe čujem ovo za Android11, mada je sve to za P50 seriju sad još u fazi prejudiciranja. Viđećemo još što će biti a ono što bih ja volio je da Huawei ne ugasi Kirin čipsetove i da tu nađu neko rješenje a potom da kreira moćan novi ekosistem jer zavisnost od Google je postala čist bezobrazluk. Nego, uskoro očekujem EMUI11 na P40pro, dakle mišljenja si da ovaj metod GSM ovako instaliran će ostati aktivan i kad odradim apdejt sa 10.1 na 11?

Ja iskreno, nisam zavisnik od google-a, iako moj nova 5t poseduje ga, ne koristim nista od servisa.. Cak i yt sam zamenuo za yt vanced.
Da, neces imati nikakvih problema kada ti dodje Emui 11, ostace ti sve onako kako si instalirao.. To jedino ovi sto vec imaju noviji emui 11 ili 10 (sa nekom tacka verzijom) pa moraji prvo da odrade downgrade softvera pa kad instaliraju servise, onda instaliraju tj vrate ponovo najnoviji android i emui.
Gledao sam ja dosta recenzija kako rade nigde nema problema.

They do, even without google services.
The only thing that's not working is the number that was supposed to be shown in the corner of an app's icon, indicating how many notifications for that app you have. Instead, there's only 1 dot displayed

Hello, i just purchased p40 pro 3 days ago and installed the youtube vanced and it seems to me the youtube vanced drains battery even it is not being used. From the battery usage and gsam monitor, youtube vanced used 40% of power consumption, that i am not sure normal or not. My unit is not gms, it is fully hms.
My phone has wifi, cellular data and aod turned on, before sleep and after sleep for 7-8 hours, the phone battery drop about 8-9%.
Is it normal or my phone has battery fault ?
My SOT is 1h53minutes while having 62% battery left.
