This is one of my favorite movies. It's one of the ideal balances of action, comedy, crime and syfy. It's a cult classic now. I didn't know there was a sequel, it's definitely on my to watch list. I didn't notice Michael Nouri was in it. I didn't develop a great appreciation for him as an actor until his role as Eli David in NCIS. He played that role very well. I felt a great loss when his character was killed.
Can you please continue reviewing films? I love these reviews. I've never heard of any of the movies you've made videos on. Great exposure for some lost treasures
It really is an underrated gem. Well worth a look just for the opening sequence. Good job. Subscribed. Oh. And loved the ‘rona and Zuckerberg references. Really funny.
I had seen this movie and loved it when it first came out and have since shown it to my son when he was younger , now that he’s grown up he’s become an appearance manager at conventions and has worked with many actors at conventions including a few actors from the hidden including director jack sholder, one small incident that kinda stands out for me is giving Chris mulkey who played the character jack devries a ride from a convention back to his hotel and play the song “on your feet “ which was the song he was playing while driving the black Ferrari in the movie , it was a very surreal moment for me
Loved this movie, i watched as it came out. It was always a bit ambiguous to me whether Alhague transferred his life force to Beck, or if he just moved into his dead body in the same way the other alien did. I guess going by the girl's reaction, the later is more likely. Great movie, the 80s were awesome
I'm trying to locate a similar "aliens walking out of people's mouths" movie, one where the alien and their host body eats in a diner, is that scene in this movie?
@Phineas Gage I am genuinely looking for the title of the movie I have described, but it's not any of the Alien franchise, it might even be a b-grade one from the 90s. There's one scene, where one person (with an alien in them already) is sitting on a chair in a diner (on Earth, not in space), eating, I want to know which movie that is, please - but it's NOT any of the Alien[s] ones, or even any of the two "Aliens vs Predator" ones.
Looks like The Hidden is the one I am after, when the "get into everything" aliens transfer themselves into another host body, it looks like a spider kind of - when the altarians do it, it looks like light?
good movie, good action and cool story. thing is this alien is just some random criminal out for personal satisfaction. it cant hide forever and has to change bodies so eventually it would be caught or killed.

The guy shot on 5:48 (security agent ) is none other than Ted White who played Jason Voorhees on Friday the 13th the final chapter
One of the best films I've ever seen.
Great review of this criminally underrated 80s Sci Fi movie

Wow, that's cool to hear! Thanks for sharing
Michael Nouri reminds of Chris Sarandon in “Child’s Play”
I was there when they filmed the car chase. Claudia is the sexiest woman on earth, later to be not so sexy in Babylon Five.
Grand Theft Saucer: Vice Planet
This is a movie that would probably be a good remake.
Yaaaaaay...you k ow what I mean. Seen this so many times top film

THe HIDDEN has a scene with the alien eating at a diner. A shot of the diner scene can be found in this video at 7:23
