If CC was black they would all be begging to be her best friend and theyd be screaming from the roof tops that shes the ROTY and MVP. Except shes a straight white female and therfor she cant possibly be better than anyone else in the WNBA.
Its the same exact treatment Eminem got when he showed up in the mainstream rap scene. Sadly there are some that still cant give credit to Eminem because no white rapper can be the best/GOAT or even just the GOAT of his generation.
And Larry Bird got the same reception when he entered the league with the same "Great White Hope" albatross around his neck, as unasked for by him as Clark's is for hers.
Why, oh why, do the media and others, including the narrator in this video, insist on calling one player's getting a bug up their butt about another player a "rivalry" when the other player is in no way participating in or reacting to the first player's words/behavior?
Clark is not involved in a "rivalry" with Carter, nor has she been in one with Reese or Carrington.
The fact that someone dislikes you, hates you, attacks you on and/or off the court, etc., does NOT make you their rival. It takes TWO to create a rivalry, and Clark has consistently gone her own way, refusing to be distracted by, or involved in, all the drama created by those who keep being incorrectly referred to as her "rivals."
Sad thing is if the roles were reversed everyone would be saying that Caitlin was being racist but because its Carter saying it nobody wants to call it out for what it is and are trying to deflect the truth.
ChennedyCarter better get used to it
Carter is a talented player, the best on the Sky, but can be a goon, the kind that gives the WNBA its dumpster ball status. A HINT of jealousy???
She is got a lot of accomplishments and a good WNBA player that nobody watched or cares to. The only reason I was aware of her was the CC factor..I still couldn't name over ten players league wide.
