This was a excellent tutorial for twinkling LEDs. Thank you so much for sharing all your hard work in figuring out this card! Your card is absolutely amazing!
Absolutely adorable! You made the process look so easy. By cutting the copper tape you don't use as much (you stretch your product farther). Someone told me that they make the circuit lights that WILL twinkle as well as come in different colors. Wow! I've got a lot to learn.
This would be really cool to do with those conductive ink pen instead of the copper tape if you had one and wanted to. It would make it a little easier.
I followed the lines of both the positive and negative lines and how they connect but, I don’t see what path connects the effect sticker, is it just inter graded and lines up when you place your battery. Could you explain the effect sticker path to me. Thank you.
Hi Heather, we found an easier way to add lights to your projects. Check out the EZ Lights by Pearblossom Press: www.lawnfawn.com/search?type=product&q=ez And here's the link to a video showing how easy they are to use on a project: ruclips.net/video/v-mJWDTqBpk/видео.html Happy Crafting!
Here's a link to the Chibitronics website for instructions: chibitronics.com/how-to/ You can buy the starter kit here: www.lawnfawn.com/search?type=product&q=chibitronics :)
Claire smd diode lights work as an alternative and tons cheaper. I stumbled across a tutorial which showed some ways to use them. Have a little nosey around youtube and you’re bound to find them. There’s a lady that does 3 alternatives in a quick easy to follow clip. Seeing how long ago you posted your comment. I’m sure you have figured that out already and maybe even made your own card already?
You can buy a Chibitronics Starter Kit at the Lawn Fawn shop (www.lawnfawn.com/collections/supplies/products/chibitronics-chibi-lights-led-circuit-stickers-stem-starter-kit) This is perfect to start with this kind of cards because it has an instruction book, some lights, copper tape and batteries. It doesn't include any effect stickers, though. Also Chibitronics has an online shop, too.
There are easier videos out there. The tricky part was the large sticker that regulated the twinkling lights. That is expensive. It connects the 3 lines at the bottom; it is the large triangle. If you don't use that you will only need 2 copper lines. That was about 18.00 for 4 of the regulator triangles. I would take a pass on that. The chibitronics alone are expensive.
This card is beautiful and you did a wonderful job explaining how to do it!!!! Thanks so very much for sharing!!!! ❤❤❤

I had a lot of trouble with the tape tearing and ruining my circuit when I cut the tape in half. Any advice?

Very nice. I need to ask you something how you cut those animal characters i mean what you have used to cut them?
sugam dhawan it's a metal die in the shape of the animals. Go to Lawn Fawn.com or Google die cutting machines and dies. Hope this helps
Wow!!!
What are those triangle-looking stickers you put on the circuit and where can I buy them?

Wow!
Does anyone know cheaper alternatives for Chibitronics? They cost $50 a pack for 30 in my country :(

Those LED stickers are expensive..
Wooow
where do you get your supplies to make the lights question mark and what exactly are they called?
You can buy a Chibitronics Starter Kit at the Lawn Fawn shop (www.lawnfawn.com/collections/supplies/products/chibitronics-chibi-lights-led-circuit-stickers-stem-starter-kit) This is perfect to start with this kind of cards because it has an instruction book, some lights, copper tape and batteries. I love the card but the electric stuff looks too complicated for my little mind, LOL! Cute though!
Who had no idea what she was saying when she was doing the battery and circuits?
Cause i did
