Your process actually makes a lot of sense. The only thing I might suggest is to kinda work in reverse. Pin everything how you had it, but don’t sew the band straight away. Lay the tracks and your last track at the very top you can glue slightly beneath the headband, THEN sew the band. That way the top track is hidden in case they want to use the black band.

How about glueing that first track just above the headband and then sewing it down. That way the track won't show. Just an idea. That's what I'm gonna do. This is the best ans easiest tutorial I've seen on these. Thank you for sharing.

Or when she started sewing the headband on in the beginning, instead of t-pinning the back of the headband, let it fall forward over past the wig cap, sew the last track to the very edge of the band, and then flip the headband over the last track so that it covers it. (Hope that wasn’t confusing)

LOVE THIS VIDEO!! I actually used the wig grip with Velcro ends. It cut out some extra sewing .

You just save me a lot of money. I bought a new wig but the bangs were really to long. Then I messed up a cut them too short. I'm going to turn it into a headband wig to save it

I do love this video idea especially fir a beginner beginner like me who never ever wore a wig before lol but I have a curious question 🙋🏽♀️ how in the world do you know if the glue will hold up over time like years down the road and that the tracks will not start to come up off the wig cap?
