- Birding trip to the Florida Keys. Gray-tailed Tattler is an Asian shorebird that somehow ended up in the Florida Keys. Birders from as far as California flocked in to see this rare vagrant. Take a look at my trip to the Florida Keys.
Congratulations on finding that rare Asian bird, Bravo! I knew if there was a bird to be found Tom the bird whisperer would find it, 😆
Haha, thank you 🙂
Congratulations Thomas! Nothing beats driving 8 hours one way to find a rare bird (this is a hard concept for non-birders to grasp)...AND FINDING IT!😁 Give a “hello” to my old stomping grounds of Jax; I moved from there to the Keys 25 yrs ago.
I enjoy going down there. The rare bird was a good excuse for me to make the trip. 😆
I love the white sands. Awesome videos of the birds too. Have a great day Thomas.
Yes, Florida Keys are beautiful. Thank you!
Good luck finding that rear bird, watch out for those sneaky gators.
Thanks. Good thing that alligators prefer the fresh water but we have so many alligators here in Florida.

Long drive! Glad you saw the bird though.
Glad I found it but I would enjoyed the trip even without seeing it.
Wow, I have never seen this species of bird, I like its olive colour, white line on feather, the woodpecker noise and seeing this on the tree is so nice. I second to that the sunset is very beautiful :) Have a good day

Keys are beautiful any time but especially in February when it's little cooler. Thank you for watching 🙂👍

Definitely 👍🙂
l was there last summer ! Really nice. Like the nature and beaches.

Great trip

Nice footage of the birds and the beach. It brought back memories of the times I was in Florida. My favourite birds are the pelicans. We actually have some here in Edmonton in the summer, except that they are white, not multi coloured.
We have both, White Pelicans and Brown Pelicans. Thank you for watching and commenting 🤠👍
You got some real nice video of them.
Thank you for watching 🙂👍
Wow this is an amazing a minutes tour
Thank you 😊
Congrats!!
Thanks
Congratulations, Thomas! The tattler is a common wintering migrant to the Philippines, although their numbers seem to be diminishing. I hope you see more. Cheers!
That's the first time that Tattler was seen in east coast. One somehow ended up here. Thanks
Good footage mate.
Thank you
Congratulations with this succesful twitch ! We had only one sighting in Holland some years ago...mega rarity ...
I assume it came from the east direction and our bird came from west..
Indeed, Siberia...
Nice...waooo.

Congratulations! That’s a common migrant to the Philippines but I’m yet to see it.
