When he was presented with the first Order of Merit in Egypt because of his international art. There was a friendship between them, when there was a dispute between Bin Abdul Halim and Farid, they intervened and settled the matter and decided that the opening ceremony of Sham El-Nessim would be for Farid Al-Atrash. He also opened a screening of Farid Al-Atrash’s film called Ahd Al-Hawa because Farid asked him to open the screening because he was sick. When the leader died, he went to the grave despite his severe illness
