Silverback gorilla Haoko made his bed and took a nap.

Has a calm and gentle personality.

Often plays with her younger brother Riki.

Son of Haoko & Momoko.
He is growing up fast.

Born in May 2022.
She started living together with the other gorillas of the Haoko troop from March 2023.

ハオコファミリーの赤ちゃんゴリラ「スモモ」は好奇心旺盛で最近は一人でうろうろ歩き回り、気になるものがあればまず触ったりかじっています。
丸太にかじりついていましたが、お味はどうだったのでしょうか？
シルバーバックで父ゴリラの「ハオコ」は藁でベッドを作り、昼寝をしていました。

She is clearly comfortable within her troop now! Zoo did excellent job getting Su back to where she truly belongs… they know what they’re doing.
Unlike kiyoto zoo where they made a total mess of rearing Gentaro.
@@vins6036 Oh i don’t think so: every reintegration of a gorilla baby back into the group is a huge success story and many zoos unfortunately fail to do so😊
(Barb E.) I would tend to agree w/Sandy on this one… yes it is extremely difficult introducing a baby back into the group, w/o risk to the baby. Fortunately, Momoko and Haoko are very experienced parents, whereas Genki and Momotaro had none at all. So Kyoto staff had to tread gingerly and slowly. There is much to know from behind the scenes, that we viewers are not privy to. So all in all, I think they did very well! I do love to see how passionately other viewers care about these wonderful creatures, and I so enjoy reading these comments from afar ❤️.

Riki is a big 5 yr older. I think he's gonna be big like dad. As for Sumomo she's gathering up steam. I predict that in less than 6 months nobody, including Riki, is going to be able to keep up with her. 😄😄😄😄😄😄
