- Julianne Hough and Josh Duhamel Interview, Safe Haven - Julianne Hough and Josh Duhamel are suckers when it comes to a good cry, so it was no surprise that they both leaped at the chance to star opposite one another in Safe Haven.
Based on the best-selling novel of the same name by Nicholas Sparks, the film brings a woman on the run together with a man looking for closure and a new lease on life.
Tribute.ca spoke with Julianne and Josh about working together, what their significant others thought about their loves scenes and working a few dance moves into their roles.
Safe Haven movie synopsis:
When a mysterious young woman named Katie washes up in the small North Carolina town of Southport, she is determined not to make personal relationships. That is, until she meets Alex, a kind-hearted widowed store owner, struggling to raise his two children. When Katie feels herself falling for him, she must choose between familar safety and the perils that come with love.

You know, movies like this is underrated in our crazed woke times. What makes a society functioning. What brings a spine to it. Maybee a strong love between a Woman and a Man. I've been around for ahwile and I know it's hard to realize. But love between two beautiful People of the same race, if only on film. It brings calm and happiness to me. A dream of what it should bee like in this world of filth and uglyness.
She's on her way to becoming a big star. She has a face of an angel and triple threat, dancing, singing and acting. She's no Meryl Streep, but it's her wholesomeness that's appealing.
I think she's beautiful as well.
