An infamously terrible matchup with very little to no margin for error just to survive? Statted out at 140, all while having no defensive skills to keep me alive or increase my damage?
Thats exactly why I play this game. This matchup is absolutely HORRID, stamina management is hell, blastblight is hell, and teo's entire moveset is extremely bad against lance. An absolute blast of a hunt nonetheless, I greatly enjoyed this grind.

In the first 'Law of Ideas' book, in which the developers were interviewed on the creation of the flagship monsters, Kaname Fujioka said that story mode and especially main/flagship monsters are made to be beatable with all weapons, but that high difficulty quests are not made with that philosophy in mind, and that they feel it's okay if you can't beat them with certain weapons or alone. "I'm not sure you can beat High Level Guild Quest Kushala with a Lance! "
