Hope you have added 'Hirni' falls in your bucket list. You will find that falls in Ranchi Chakradharpur Road. Interestingly the Hensadih, where the water falls is, comes under 'Saranda' forest; the largest forest in Asia. Last visited in 1969. Cannot say the dense jungle is still there where wild animals were teeming at that time!
We have already plan to visit Ranchi in September for Netarhut and Lodh water falls. As per your advice we have added HIRNI. Is there any college near HIRNI (BIT mesra)?. By way where do you stay Sir. 😊🙏
@@BetterLiving No Ma'am, Mesra is just opposite. If you are coming to Ranchi via Jamshedpur then there is a diversion at Tamar that will lead you to Khunti. Khunti is situated on Ranchi Chakradharpur Road. Hirni falls is some kilometers away from that town. While returning you can proceed to Netarhat without entering Ranchi. I studied in St. Xavier's college, Ranchi and was graduated in 1970. Long old memories that you revived. I am a roaming person as such. Briefly I can say that I have a small flat at Bolpur where we arrive as migratory birds in the winter. Also I have a small flat in Chennai which is empty now as we moved out and are living in Hyderabad. We will be travelling again and on the 22nd September we have a flight ticket reserved for Kolkata. Have a plan to return to Hyderabad by car while driving alone. Cheers!!!
