Id say this game had the best art design, music and DLC of the Shantae series. However, Pirate's Curse was the best Shantae game overall, with the best story, level design and gameplay mechanics. Risky's Revenge felt like a trial run and I never played the first or most recent.
i am surprised it took me so long to realize that Shantae's hairstyle is meant to resemble a genie lamp-also this time the game is entertaining enough that i don't feel the need to speed up the video, compared to that of previous games XD hope the future ones will be like that too
I kinda want a mega man crossover with this since I have reasons. 1. They are made by capcom and mega had appeared in street fighter games 2. Capcom doesn’t even pay attention to those games anymore,m (despite making a 5th game and releasing mega man 1) 3. To me they’re kinda similar
Finally watched a playthrough of a Shantae game. The art & animation is amazing. Great gameplay and writing as well. Loved how the bosses end up being NPCs & send you on fetch quests. :) Maybe the dislikes were for teabagging? XD Nice job getting 100% efficiently, and nice vid!
Heh, you can clearly see that Monster World IV was the inspiration for this game, can't you. That is not necessarily bad though, and from what I've seen thus far (I'm only about an hour in), it does appear to be doing its own thing, plus it is cute & colourful, which is always a bonus for this variety of game. Being an extremely old school gamer, I'm not entirely sure I could put up with the constant saving every few screens, but I guess that's just the way things are done these days. (^p^)
