Have you ever heard someone saying "serving singing"? The song is completely in English. The word "kant" was given the Maltese spellings to avoid censorship while keeping its English meaning. Cannot fool everybody though.
@ I’m well aware of this but what I’m saying is there are no grounds for censorship unless the ebb takes an Anglocentric approach which would be quite problematic, just because it sounds like the English c*nt doesn’t mean they can kick it out even though it is very obviously intentional

I really doubt that one word is going to derail this entire entry because 1) it has a translation scapegoat... it's an obvious scapegoat but it is a really good scapegoat and 2) the term cunt has different definitions, and I think the definition they're pulling from gives the term a more positive context (aka the queer definition coined by the New York City ballroom/vogue scene, which we do see Mariana do a little voguing in her video). The definition argument might not change minds, but I don't think it explains that the term wasn't used maliciously... just used to make shock, which worked.
