Unless you have a specific allegiance to someone, I'm not sure why you would lie and say someone wasn't driving a car who hit someone and hit a building, and even then, I don't know why you'd lie. That's someone who DESERVES to go to jail. You're lying, for what? In consideration of her kids? What if her kids had been in the car while she's acting like that? What if this is regular behavior for her and she does it while her kids are in the car? You're actually making decisions that put her children in MORE danger by lying for her. Terrible, terrible choice made by those people.

Old school cops didn't have fear and knew how to do their jobs, not like nowadays... Try to be militarized and abuse authority...
That's because of the use of body cameras, lawsuits, and everyone's claims of abuse of power. As an officer nowadays you have to basically walk on eggshells and be extremely careful of your use of words and actions. My dad was a beat cop in Washington, DC in the 1970s and he used to tell me horror stories of his experiences.
That's the exact reason why I didn't pursue my dream of becoming a police officer, because I knew that I didn't have the temperament to handle the proper treatment of the public. Meaning that I know that I don't have the patience or the ability to control myself when people square off on me or scream in my face. I am also a professionally trained martial artist. I am 40 now, so I have a better mindset now, but if I had attempted to become an officer in my 20s like I wanted to, there's no way that I could've controlled my temper.

If he'd been the hero he thinks he is, while he was thumbing down on her for failing even though she "comes from a good family, blah blah blah," he would have asked where the trauma is.
