  • We've officially had the 2022 Jeep Gladiator Rubicon Ecodiesel for one year and just over 20K miles! We've crossed the country with it, overlanded, off roaded, snow wheeled, daily drove, camped out of this rig. It has performed flawlessly. Check out the video for a thorough walk around of the mods and review.

I typically hate listening to people review their truck, but you actually hit on what I care about and didn’t waste time on pointless stuff. Thanks, I enjoyed it!

Very nice! Solid accessories. Someday will be going the JL route, the JK is still going strong, but man, the JL and Gladiators are step above gor sure. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for the post. Nice review. I have a 3.6 JT. I like what you did with the tonneau cover and the rack. Thank you for posting videos on those installations. Very helpful to the rest of us. I subscribed and am enjoying the other videos posted.

Really liked the presentation! I would love to have a Gladiator, especially if they made a 2 door variant. You gave a very informative review.

Good information. I appreciate real world thoughts. I currently have around 12k miles on my 2022 JT Rubicon Eco. I like your sensible mods, and am looking to do something similar. Thanks for the video.

We’ve got similar setups. My 2022 JT eco pulling 20 ft , 5500 lbs travel trailer and doing 20 mpg. No issues. I also got the AEV lift which I’ll be installing soon. Also got 2018 JKUR is my rock crawler. Love the JT diesel and would definitely get another one.

Great review, it appears we have identical Jeeps except for the dash color. So far I love the truck as well. I live in the Appalachian Mountains in SWVA and other trucks I’ve had were terrible on fuel and struggled pulling a boat up the mountains. This is a different animal and it’s nice!

I got a kick out of the way your face lit up when you posed the question of would you still buy the truck. Heck yeah you’d buy it again! It’s such a nice driver.

Just subbed due to your presentation style. Straightforward & no nonsense. Liked your 2" lift and preserving the original wheels on new larger tire approach. Looked great and saved some funds for other improvements.

Have a 2021 JTRD with MOPAR 3.5" lift and 35" tires. 15k miles. I get 22mpg around town, but not much more on the highway. Probably because I drive >70. I tow utility trailer and my 19' boat with no problems. No repairs yet, except I got the recall notice for the fuel pump and will be bringing in for that when they have parts. I wish I had time to do more off roading and use that aspect of the truck. DEF use is probably same as what you're saying you get. I have been using the boxed stuff, but will try using some at the nearby Bucee's stop which I know has some. Really enjoyed your video. Thanks.

Great review! I came here after watching your Holy Cross video to see what your setup is. I'm even more impressed you did Holy Cross with a 2" lift on a long wheelbase. I went with a JTR gasser and love it, although the diesel is still tempting although not sure I want to deal with the greater complexity. The 8spd+Pentastar is a much better combo than the JKU's 5spd, but yeah could still use some more torque.

I have about the identical Gladiator, except I opted for the white top. Sounds like your getting better mileage though. I have 35’s and am averaging 17-19 I’d say. Love the Tazer. Also looking to get the banks Derringer w/pedal monster. I’ve heard great reviews. I also tow a 16’ aluminum cargo trailer so the extra ponies would be nice. Going to check out the rest of you channel. Great review and I would agree with it all.

I have a 2017 Ram 1500 Laramie 2WD (nothing special) and have been interested in the Gladiator for years. The smaller interior space concerns me though since I often need to carry 2 kids and an adult in the back. Nice review man!

Great review - new sub and thinking about getting a diesel Gladiator

Had 22 gladiator for two years first rate. Going to buy a new one this summer.

Wow. Nice review definitely worth watching. The other reviews where they have a shaky phone and walk around leave a lot to be desired.

Since you have the cold weather group and a Tazer... You can actually set it up that the auto-turn on piece will turn on the passenger seat heat as well. (Really useful if your wife likes a warm seat too.)

Love my diesel jt, it does tow better till it gets hot, something I’ve noticed is tire weight is almost as noticeable as tire size with stock gears (no 4-10s in diesel gladiator)
