I've been heartbroken in the past by someone who is now married to someone else. I'm happy for them but was in really bad heartache. Initially it's really horrible, possibly the worst feeling I've had but I've realised it made me get closer to Allah where I've now been doing my 5 prayers a day. Now I'm happy things turned out the way it did as Allah showed me they were not the person I thought they were. No problem brother may Allah guide us all. Just a piece of advice I suggest when you study about your deen check for authentic sources of our religion and avoid modern day youtubers. Mufti menk has been compromising the deen and I wouldn't suggest learning your religion from such a "scholar". Be careful brother
Sister i lookfor possitivity, i have seen aloot of scholars, its quite hard for people like me to even go to mosque, and now i dont even listen music or watch movies, i am finally turning towards Allah, all i know is that, through brother Mufti Menk i have atleast done this much and in sha Allah will be going more forward, if i look for good and bad right now i will just go back to the zero, if he inspires me its a good thing Alhumdulillah, may Allah give us strength to remember him all time. Hi I don't know if you will read my comment or not but the first thing that came to my mind without even reading the story when I saw you sitting next to the rabbi is the prophet salla Allah Ala alih wa sahbih wa Salam and how nice he was to his Jewish neighbor despite the neighbor being so cruel to our prophet I also remembered Moses even the Pharoah was the cruelest human being to have lived on earth killing newborn babies he still approached him with a gentle way when making dawah all I could say is hold strong and keep your Iman high and thanks to all those times that I needed a something to keep me going and I found peace within your talks that I would tear up Allah is the only one that knows what is inside of our hearts and it is not for the people to define who you are my Allah reward you the firdaws and grant you sabr on what they are saying

Assalamualaikum wrwb my father (age 49, a righteous man, a good muslim) passed away with lung cancer last December. We had hope till last minute that Allah will cure him. But when he passed away we knew it a test of our Iman from Allah. And Alhumduillah even now we tell Hasbunallahu wa nihmal wakeel. Alhumduillah. Few last words of my father is " This world is temporary and the hereafter is permanent and is better"
