USB 3 is 5 to 10 times faster than the Ethernet port you're using. Plus Zahn is recommending people buy a USB to Ethernet adapter to connect this new scanner.
True, but the pc that comes with this Scanner does not have any USB 3.0 ports, i mentioned it did but further dive into it, i didn't see any blue usb 3.0 ports. Not sure why the Cat 6 Ethernet cable option was selected as the transfer method of data. But either way, the data transfer and speed of this scanner, surpasses all previous models. So maybe next year model we see a USB 3.0 or 3.1 transfer method.
i5 12500, yes i712500 would have been a touch faster, but check out this chart. Not bad that a i5 CPU can almost hang with a i7. Personally it is fast. Could it be faster, yes. But to break into the price point it worked.
Couldn't be happier with my E4 but that thing looks awesome!
The E4 is an amazing scanner. This is just and E4 with a supercharger. LOL
Lv 3 shape system ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

Can you scan dentures with it to create a duplicate one?
Yes you can. 3Shape copy denture workflow. This can work on nearly any scanner, D1000 and all E series scanners as well.
Should have come with a better config pc. i5 really?
