I think it’s similar to meet me in Miami without the sun tan lotion note. It’s softer and a bit more elevated to me..I like it!🌴
I smelled it in store when I picked up my order. It’s a mash up of Coco paradise,Bahamas and Meet me in Miami. Smells like banana scented sun tan oil.
Hi bonnie, I went in and bought the $8 mini EDP in tropidelic. I absolutely love this fragrance! I remember at one time bath & Body works had an aromatherapy line Ylang Ylang maybe it had hibiscus in it as I remember it. This mixes well with my chemistry smells nothing like cocoa Paradise nothing like Bahamas passion fruit banana. Just like I didn't like the rose fragrance that they repackaged but now I do like rose one. Everybody's body chemistry is different Sosa may like this some may not? I also checked with my store today and they didn't offer me to buy one get one on the refillable soaps. The manager told me it was buy one dispenser and get a refillable hand soap carton. If they had that deal I would definitely have jumped on buying that deal for sure. This is a really lovely scent just like your husband said it smelled nice on you. As we get older our body chemistry changes. I'm definitely stocking up on this one. Packaging is one thing but it's really about the fragrance. I absolutely hated luminous that definitely smelled like an old Avon perfume. I know some people like luminous. No offense. Tropidelic 👍😊
Yeah I got a Luminous FFM from a friend and it's really reminding me of Avon and Mary Kay!!

I love this scent because just like you said , it’s different however I’m not sure about what others are going to think and I understand for sure. I do think a lot of people when they come into the store and see this beautiful packaging they are going to want to try this. I feel it may be a 50/50 for the public. Yesterday I did get the mini perfume and tried the hand cream. It does have lasting power! ❤
I could not remember for the life of me what this smelled reminded me of, then it hit me….it is like Velvet Tuberose! There are notes here that are very similar (ylang ylang, flower and sandalwood) and is giving me those vibes, big time!

I've got it! This is Coty Sand & Sable from the 90s! But there was also a Bath & body works sent around The 2015 mark that smelled just like this!

The way you're saying it smells like a different scent in the cream makes me think of Meet Me In Miami. I love that one in the mist, but regret buying the cream. I can't even explain the difference in a way that makes sense, but am surprised I can like how it smells in one product and then not even care for it in another!

On my skin the mist, oddly enough, smells a lot like Coco Paradise but with a more floral dry down. I’m pleasantly surprised and can’t wait for a body care sale so I can pick it up. It’s a nice change from the fruity tropical scents that we get every year.

I got to smell the shower gel before it was on shelves and it smelled like Meet Me in Miami to me. Replace tiare flower in the Miami one with Ylang in tropaselic, and you get an idea of what it smells like. I need to test back to back.
It reminds me of avons haiku. The green bottle. I got the tropidelc and the green notes reminded me of that perfume. I like it , it last all day. 😊

Hi Bonnie! I went to try Tropidelic yesterday and I also don't love it. You used a word to describe it that I also used...Pungent. It's very strong to my nose, and also pulled a bit masculine on the dry down on my skin which seemed odd. Can't wait to try the cream if it smells as you described! Otherwise, I think I'm going to pass on Tropidelic. Not bad, just not for me.

The prach bellini & calypso pleasantly surprised me.. and I haven't eaten a peach or bought anything related to peaches since prom 1988 with the overpour of peach schnapps😅
I think that it’s a fruity floral scent. I smelled it today in the mini perfume. I do like the mini perfume version. It reminds me of Coach Floral and Valentinos Coral Fantasy (which I already have 😢). I did not enjoy smelling the mist either really. I think I’m going to try it again when the full size comes out where I’m at.
I haven't smelled it yet but will do when I pick up my bopis order this week. Sounds intriguing & if I like it enuff to want to test it out at home, I'll use my free coupon to get the mini. At least I can try it out w/out fully committing to the collection.
I got the mini perfume in store.. they had the Elephant water globe, candle , a purse, and a sanitizer holder( but it was a big pom pom) . They had the Easter peeps chick, shark, elephant, cheerleader, sani holders..adorable. I have only been in the store once since I think right before Christmas or in between Halloween had all my online receipts and they actually damaged out to all a good night candle a Sandy holder and something else just because they're not in stock anymore.. so I asked if I could just give them to the employee and she said she's not allowed to take them I said but they're mine and what if I give them to you very weird that they just throw stuff away in my opinion😢
Hi Bonnie, the single wick, handcream, and the mini perfume all smell the same to me. The mini perfume dry down is sweet, I did pick up the single wick and mini perfume today, still on the fence about this scent.

I bought Tropidelic in the travel perfume today. It smells nice. I like it but not sure if it's a love yet. I need to wear it for a while to see how it smells on my skin.

Since I work at Bath and Body Works we sometimes get a body care for free this time it was Tropidelic. I loved one of the gratis options was for body scrub.
I usually always gravitate towards the body lotion or body cream my sister is a nurse. But the option for the body scrub for gratis was very nice.
For the Banana Passionfruit one I feel like the sourness is a sweet sour like pineapple.

Bath & Body Works target audience with their new scents are office workers, there's not a problem with that but what about people who like gourmands?
I used to feel like that when everything was gourmand and it made me stop buying for about a decade 😆 then my taste changed and I like gourmands but dislike florals now.
It's like they go all in on one profile. They could easily do both with the amount of stuff they put out
What about people who only like fruit scents? I would love for them to focus on more fruit scents like blueberries,lemon,strawberries,lime,blackberries,Grape,kiwi scents etc. Sick of florals,cupcakes,waffles, musk and sandalwood.
@@LatchKeyKid_78 have you tried Escada? They release summer perfumes that are usually fruity. Not being able to find mists that I liked led me to try perfume, and now I’m into layering to get what I want. It’s so fun!
I sprayed some on me in the store today and yucky. I couldn't wait to wash it off.

Happy Monday Night! I think the packaging is their best yet! I don’t love this scent, it’s just okay. I swear to my nose I get all Love Always Wins from last year. It’s a dupe for me, I get that same dry a floral, drift wood/beachy scent. I don’t think I will buy the set because it’s too similar to Love Always Wins. So it’s a pass for me.
I haven't smelled it yet, but I don't know how I feel about it with ylang ylang in it. i use it in my hair care products, but I don't know if I want it all over my body.
Hi Bonnie! I got to smell this yesterday in store! I love the packaging but to me the scent does not match the packaging at all lol I didn’t LOVE it lol but I did like it - it reminds me of a skin scent. I do want to get it. I haven’t smelled this scent yet. But I have been noticing lately that the creams smell different than the body sprays. I don’t remember it used to being that way. But I have noticed that a lot more in the last year or so and sometimes they smell very different -Either much sweeter or more tart. I’m guessing it must be from the difference in ingredients they use now than they used to.
The description reminds me of pleasures intense, which smells nothing like its original pleasures by Estée Lauder.
Does it have that Kalidescope smell in the background? 😢

I finally used my Tropidelic lotion and mist and what is that funky smell after the dry down? Do I have a bad batch? The lotion had some weird smell too. Please help a girl out.

The spray smells a lot like Hibiscus Paradise with a parmesan cheese note lol. Very odd scent.

I love it, but it smells super weak to me, that’s the only thing I’m not sure about.
Thank you Bonnie….I did my little haul video and said the same thing, “it reminds me of a similar scent and I can’t put my finger on it.” I do like Tropidelic but I need to wear the perfume and see if I want the whole collection. It doesn’t smell bad on me but if I already have something similar, do I really need it? I just need to figure out what that similar fragrance is 😅. So far my low buy is not working out 😂. This could be the beginning though by NOT buying Tropidelic. TFS ❤
